Chiefs beat the Raiders

This game could of easily been boring but when you play a
division rival and beat them...its far from boring...:laugh:

KC IMO played like crap for most of the game...they played good
enough to win esp on that last drive by Oakland...

Oakland made too many mistakes that cost them the game...

But hey its a win and now the Raiders have lost to all 3 division rivals
so far...

on a side note....it was good to see #31 suited up and on the field...:beer:

Looked like LJ had some nice runs. I was watching the NFLST Red Zone channel that flips back and forth between games, and he looked good. Not sure what is final stats were.

I had KC as I think their defense is pretty good and when
you play good defense and run the football, you will be in every game.

I still think Dante Cullpepper sucks as well. I like Josh McCown better.

Yeah, that is a team that won't just give you the win; you'd have to earn it. I had a feeling it would come down to the wire in a somewhat high scoring game. In the pickem's, I chose Denver 34-31, which was pretty close to the end score.

On Oakland's side, Lamont Jordan hasn't been getting it done since coming back from injury, and neither has Rhodes. The last 3 games prior to today, Fargas has been averaging 6.3, 8.1, and 5.0 yards per carry. Despite his breakout game against Miami, he's been getting the ball a ridiculously low number of times. The way he runs reminds me a bit of Selvin Young, in that he has a burst of speed, is not big, but does initiate contact. I don't get why they don't use him more, as he's usually pretty productive per carry.

yea it was 6-0 Chiefs and they went for it on 4th and 1...it was early so maybe in hindsight...they of course couldn't see it winning the game for them.
But the Chiefs weren't having the best game either so as it was...if they had went for the FG....they would of won 13-12.

You're right, if the Chiefs weren't playing well, better to get sure points on the board. Only if the Chiefs were steamrolling would I understand the pressure to get a touchdown.
