ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Head Coach Josh McDaniels will speak to the media about the team's day one draft at approximately 7:15 p.m. MDT or a little after, and you can watch it streaming live here.

He doesn't look quite as confident or cocky as the last press conference pre-draft. Looks nervous now.

Probably saw all the commentators making jokes of his draft.

McD obviously isn't a dumbass...he saw the players he wanted and got them, for better or for worse.

Said they were VERY high on Smith and McBath.

With Richard Quinn, got a player they feel is going to be good for us for a long time. That's why they moved up to get Quinn late in the day. Feel good about all 3 players that people think they reached on.

We'll see. They are three down players, yet we have Hill and Hawkins.

He just said that Eddie Royal will continue to be the kick and punt returner, regardless of Alphonso Smith's ability to return.

You need more than 4 DBs on 3rd down, and our entire secondary is old.

Did I hear McDaniels wrong? Seattle will get the highest first round pick next year, whether it's our first or Chicago's first?

Quick notes: Knows you can't fill every hole on day one but got players they liked, belives all are 3 down players, this years value out ways next years at this point (A. Amith=next years 1st round pick), excited to have 3 TE's that they are confident in to run the 2-3 TE sets, looking forward to the 6 picks tomorrow.
