Today's question about the Broncos comes from M.C. Seward.

Q: Is starting guard Chris Kuper, who suffered a dislocated ankle late last season, on track to making a complete recovery and playing again?

A: Kuper, a fifth-round pick in the 2006 draft, had surgery soon after his New Year's Day injury against the Chiefs.

Kuper could participate in training camp by late July. How important is the North Dakota product to the Broncos? He was among the players who were called to Dove Valley team headquarters during Peyton Manning's free-agent visit with the Broncos.

The 2009 draft was a complete nightmare. The Alphonso Smith pick sent me over the edge.

Don't be stupid; everyone knows all Shanahans drafts sucked, so dumping him was the only way to achieve the records we've posted since.

Kupe's consistentlyl been solid, if never spectacular, almost from the start, and for both his own sake and the teams I wish our only guard worthy of the name a full and speedy recovery, despite fears about the injurys severity.
