NFL.com has the salary-cap numbers, as of Friday morning, for every team. The Chiefs and Broncos are in fine shape, while the Chargers and Raiders have much less room.

The truth is, every team will be fine. The big-spending portion of free agency is over and every team in the AFC West should be able to easily sign its draft picks and add depth. Although the Chiefs and Broncos can add more depth than San Diego and Oakland.

I wouldn't say everyone is "fine;" according to that NFL.com link, the Panthers only have a little over half a million dollars of cap space. However, with 2 roster spots (7, if we count the PS, but no one on the PS will break than bank) and almost $14 million left, we're not in bad shape, assuming all the adjustments, roll overs etc. are as stated (at $26,000,000, we're second only to Jacksonville for largest carryover, with KC right behind us.) Heartening though; we could still sign one or two big names and remain able to pay our next draft class (hopefully we find a way to work Chris Harris in if we haven't yet.)

I suspect we will hold off until the draft and sign some bargain players.

Most of the free agents will be anxious to sign deals at that point. Other than not re-signing Bunk, I feel really good about this team. Hopefully we draft a DT early this year.

13 mill still alot of jack after Manning.

Nice to know we can wait out these teams (Car & Chi) that want too much right now to take their cap busting "losers" off their hands...

If we sign Fletcher at 25, I'll be doin a jig in Hawaii.

Id like to see the cap space used on a trade.

Someone like.............Stewart.

Id give a fourth this year and a fifth next year.

That would be a useful avenue to spend our money wisely imo.

Hopefully they roll some more cap into 2013, hopefully it's not a flatcap.......the Broncos are gonna have to sign Ryan Clady to an extension soon.......

Jeff Legwold just wrote this AM that they are out of cap space and won't even re-sign Marcus Thomas, which means they lost both their starting DTs from a year ago!

Q: Are the Broncos over the salary cap after signing Jason Hunter and Caleb Hanie? And if they lose Marcus Thomas, what will the Broncos have left at defensive tackle?

A: When the free-agent signing period started, the Broncos had about $40 million in salary cap space to work with.

They have signed 10 players to contracts worth about $141 million over the life of their deals. Those contracts will count about $40.5 million against Denver's salary cap this season.

All of their workable salary cap space is gone, so the Broncos probably are done signing free agents. That means they likely won't re-sign Thomas.

Peyton Manning's contract is the biggest of the Denver newcomers. He will count $18 million against the salary cap this season.

Defensive tackle is Denver's No. 1 need entering the NFL's April 26-28 draft.
