WOW - what a beautiful house

NFL quarterbacks are members of an elite fraternity. The position involves an intense level of preparation, pressure and, quite frankly, a complete dedication to what is considered an art, which is exactly why quarterbacks often form bonds with one another throughout their careers – because who better understands what you’re going through better than another professional quarterback? For these reasons, we often see quarterbacks, past and present, keeping in touch, lending support and, on occasion, training with fellow QB brethren during the offseason. And if there was ever a time for one quarterback to help another, it is now. Peyton Manning, please buy Jake Plummer’s house.

It has been quite a while since Plummer laced up his cleats for the Denver Broncos, 2006 to be exact, and it has been quite a while since “The Snake” listed his Cherrry Hills Village, CO home – 2008 to be exact. With the Broncos betting the farm on Manning and his surgically repaired vertebra, perhaps the stars are aligned for one quarterback to throw a bone to another. Let’s break it down, John Madden-style:

Nowhere to throw the ball around in the back yard.... Looks like somebody didn't like the idea of cutting grass, and a big back yard....

I'll take the house off Jake's hands. Just sign it over to me, and I'll take it from there! No more hassle! No more Realtor fees!

Also, Jake could throw in a couple of his handball trophies for the favor...

2.8 mill is a steal for that house. It would be cool to own a former Broncos home too.

And, I'm buying another home for 300k soon. Don't feel like a baller now....

Not too shabby. I can't believe he parked his ugly Honda Element at that house.

Shanahan's old house was nothing compared to the one he and Peggy built. The new one is 35,000+ square feet. There are grocery stores smaller than that. I saw the old home and watched much of the construction of the new one.

I haven't seen Plummer's house but I did show a client McD's house twice. Too bad they didn't buy it :D

Photos of Shanahan's new 35,000-square foot property surfaced earlier this month, and man is it nuts. Construction on it began in 2008, and according to Homes of the Rich, it is finally complete. Among other things, it includes a bowling alley, golf simulator room, poker lounge, conservatory, indoor racquetball court, two bridges, a 3600-square foot garage and a 2,150-square foot guest house. It also has a swimming pool, which is probably not big enough to house Dan Snyder's yacht. That's probably the only thing the property cannot hold.

My family and I once had a 3,500 sq. ft. home. I remember the first time we went through it. I thought we were going to get lost.

Shanahan's garage is bigger than that!
