Got no love for this but me and the fam put on the Broncos gear and went down to the day-before-the-game event in PB.
All I really wanted was a fam shot with Miles. Made sure I left at 5pm sharp and headed to the restaurant.
My wife cranked off a bunch of shots and they were all garbage.
My daughter really was a pill all day and refused to re-pose and lost out on the amazing ice cream sandwich shop across the street.
I got a couple with just me but who cares. This was the only shot with all of us and Miles looks like an animation.
My daughter got some signed bullshit from the cheerleaders.

It was somewhat emotional to see his statue by Mile High Stadium. Tim “Barrel Man” McKernan died of respiratory failure. We believe that he died for Broncos Country. I truly miss him and I was glad that I paid my respects to this awesome fan.

At the Marine Corps Ball tonight with my wife, mother in law, and sister in law. The gentleman in the middle is the 35th Commandant of the Marine Corps General Amos. <img src="http://www.broncosforums.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=9770"/>
I see the marine corps marathon is on 22 October 17, what year was it you are planning to do that to mark your retirement???
I might stick my name in the ballot this year.

I might be revising plans with recent back issues, we shall see. I still want to do the marathon, just not sure I should. I'm going to start training for distance again in the next few weeks now that our crossfit type CFT is finished, I'll let you know
Are the back issues major?

Building the rack new costs about 225$. Every time something changes I have to get the medals rehung up to the medal that needs a new device. Counting shipping and taxes it costs me 50-75$ to get them updated.
I'm not complaining, I have friends who spend double that for their medals, and the purple heart, bronze star, etc are more than most medals.

You pay for all your uniforms. In boot camp it's deducted from your pay before you get it. We got paid at the end of boot camp, all our uniforms, toothpaste used, etc was all deducted from that check. We get an annual uniform allowance, but it doesn't really cover it.

Lol, but for a smart guy who values evidence based approaches to life, your reticence to embrace the natural world is so irrational it presents as an anxiety in itself.
http://www.takingcharge.csh.umn.edu/enhance-your-wellbeing/environment/nature-and-us/how-does-nature-impact-our-wellbeing
I could cite countless studies, all of which agree, nature is good for us.
You remind me of the sad polar bear in the zoo that had been away from the natural habitat so long, they are literally depressed. Countless other studies highlight the importance on environment to animals, all we are is smarter primates than the rest.
Anyway, preachy rant over. Enjoy the city and your next mcrib!

I hate to break it to you big man, but men have been styling since the beginning of recorded history. The first known example of style was recorded in a cave in Eritrea where Ugg was styled on by his younger brother, also named Ugg. The style is a God given talent, in fact, the original version of our Constitution read, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men were endowed by their creator with the gift of style...", but the line was later changed as the rest of the document was said to be "style enough" to carry it.
There is but one style god, Davii.

Here’s my story.
First of all, I am a Deaf person and fluent in American Sign Language.
My personal barbershop closed for a week. Sports clips are my second choice. I attended Sports Clips for haircuts. After my haircut, I recognized a barber’s memo on barber’s workstation. I didn’t know they keep the customers' haircut preferences in their database. I read this memo and I was scoffing loudly to barber. One of stylists labeled me as "MUTE" and other stylist said, "HE CAN'T TALK" on the same memo. WTF?! I had a brief conversation with their manager. I told him that his employees have IQ of 54. I showed this memo to him and he got embarrassed. I had to educate them and asked them to change it to the right word. I told them, “Deaf is a beautiful word to use! They can communicate me by using gestures, notebook, or text messages on iPhone." The manager was embarrassed and I got a free haircuts coupon for my next visit. Yup, I got the balls to do this right. WTF is wrong with today's society? Heh!

I'm sorry that you had to personally educate these people - but it's good you did.
Side note: sports clips blows. I've gone a couple times and had lackluster experiences both times... It turns out that I don't really need to watch ESPN classic for the 15 minutes it takes to get my hair cut.

One clipper. He doesn't even need the other side, just the comb part really. The blade isn't really necessary.

My buddies bro cashed out of some start up and moved to Thailand. It's kind of odd but he has a new chick every 3 months.
