TE Joel Dreessen's free agent tour will next hit the Rocky Mountains, as he is visiting the Broncos later on Thursday, according to multiple sources. Dreeseen, who led the Texans with six touchdown receptions last season, is a native of Fort Morgan, Colorado, and played his college ball at Colorado State.

Dressen or Tamme. Either would be a nice pick up

He's not bad (frustrated me last season when I had Owen Daniels as a fantasy TE, because he always seemed to steal the TD catches but never did much aside from that). But I'd prefer Clark. Then again, with Peyton at QB, no telling who could break out...

he should wear a nice suit but bring his pads if they want to work him out

nice! i've been kinda hoping we'd go after him-- not the biggest guy, but he's a solid route runner with good hands-- exactly the type of under-the-radar player whose production could really spike playing with manning. . .

Denver has one TE, Dreesen is a solid 2nd option at TE. I'd much rather have the Texans' James Casey.......

CSU is a football factory.
CSU is my favorite college team.

But what you just said makes you a nonsense factory . . .

I'd take him over Tamme. Tamme does nothing for me. What I really want is another big road grader type TE to replace fells.

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle says Dreesen will decide between the Texans and the Broncos by Friday morning. My assessment is that he's a "possession receiver" disguised as a tight end. His blocking is subpar and he's not really a deep threat but he can squat in a zone and catch the short stuff. Not a RAC guy either. As long as he's not the primary TE, he's an adequate second guy.
