While I know that the ride has been bumpy and many have already written the season off the show must go on. So here's to our Broncos getting off to a good start after the bye week.

Yes a win, or at minimum a competitive game would be real nice. The Broncos have struggled for sure, but also are going through a tough stretch in Jax, Indy, SD and Pitt. There aren't any stretches like this following tonights game.

I know I am in the minority, but I expect them to play better and have more wins (compared to the first half) in the second half of the season.

I'm with you Tned, while I don't know how big the turn around will be, I do have faith in the Broncos improving somewhat. Two weeks to ponder the worst home lost ever is good motivation.

I'm sure Shanny was steamed, so if there is any way to have that team ready to compete, I am sure he will.

I sure hope we end up with more then 2 wins over our next 11 games

But yea we have played nothing but Playoff calibur teams in each of our last 4 games(including tonight).

After tonight its not as difficult. I sure would love to steal a win at home tonight. Its not very often we talk about stealing a home win.

I just have a bad feeling that Ben will have a field day with his 10-20 yard passes vs us. And Willy will go off.

oh well. :salute:

That's definately something he needs to work on. He has been throwing into double coverage quite a bit on the long balls this season, and often throwing them (like earlier tonight) not very accurately. While this was a pick, it was actually one of his better long balls this season, but it was poor judgement, as he should have never made the throw.

First Half Summary - We aren't the AFL beotches any more.

I'm not going to do a play-by-play, but here's a summary.

Cutler is playing with fire and abandon. Making a few mistakes, but making a lot of plays as well. They've taken the handcuffs off and we have an offense again.

Some good running from Henry, but the passing is what's getting us into position and getting us the points.

We're blitzing more and playing with Safeties in the box. We've gone away from the Vanilla defense we've been playing.

Front four have been really good. Putting a lot of pressure on Rothlisberger and we have gotten some sacks and also a fumble returned by Crowder for a TD.

The team is playing like a REAL football team the whole first half. A lot of intensity and plays are being made all over the field.

He looks like he's lined up offside before the snap. I just want him to back up half an inch to avoid any confusion by the refs.

It's is probably because while he isn't really playing better than the other guy, or winning more, you know that it isn't WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get), meaning this isn't as good as it gets, you know there is great potential and so the growing pains don't hurt as bad as mistakes by a QB who has already reached his potential.
