You anchored the defense that took the Broncos to its first division title since 2005 and it's first playoff win since then, as well.
Your stoutness and bad assness allowed Von Miller to become a superstar and Von Doom to become part of the Denver Broncos lexicon.
Your run stuffing ability, and willingness to take on blockers led to D.J. Williams' best year as a pro.
Good luck with the Saints.
:salute:
I see what you did there.

A mediocre, 29 year old DT had an above average year in limited play time in a contract year.
Next stopgap, please
Even though I am EXTEMLEY happy he is gone, I will try very hard to not be a dick about it. I kinda regret saying good riddens. Im just happy that the circus has picked up and left for new orleans.
Id buy all ya'll Broderick fans a beer to cry in if I could.

Yet his resigning has been talked about as a no brainer, MUST DO. A more clear example of the impotence of the Broncos interior D-line I can't imagine.

That's a bunch of crap. Elway never committed to re-signing Bunkley, he just wants him to plow his daughter.

I have no need of Bunkley. Or any DTs, really. Loving our roster construction. Mays now won't have any annoying Orange shirts in the way when he's plowing through 3 guys on his way to the running back. :salute:
Nothing can stop him now.

Pure money-grab. Pretty clear now what his primary motivation is. Also funny how much people are overreacting to his play in a contract year.

I wouldn't have paid him 25 million either. That's Mebane money, and he's no Mebane. If we wouldn't drop that on better players I'm glad we didn't drop it on Bunkley.
But Vickerson can't bulk up enough to play both tackle positions at once, so we'd better figure something out.

Surprised they committed to 5 years. I can see why we couldn't get a deal done. Don't want to give a five year deal to someone who only picked it up when it was time to get paid. Worried how we will handle this hole though. We need a D that is at least somewhat effective. Peyton can only do so much.

So it's 5yrs/25 mil... ouch... If Mays is "worth" 4 mil then Bunk is worth 5 mil but ... 3 years could be considered but 5 yrs.. no fricking way...

Pro football focus' top ranked 4-3 tackle vs the run. You guys are right. Hes an asshat and I mean we have an abundances of talent just waiting to step in for him. The only problem bunk ever had was that he's so stout vs the run that he's always been asked to play the nose. Never played poorly

What are you worried about? We have Manning now. We could put the D on IR and still win.
