Let me start by saying that Peyton Manning is 1 Million times the QB that Tim Tebow will ever hope to be. You guys definately upgraded the most important position in all of sports, and for that I say kudos.

But with that said, I am still pretty confident that Denver will still be finishing last place in the AFC West next year. The Chiefs will be better, the Chargers will be better, and of course the Raiders will be better next year. Peyton Manning is a great player, but given his age and his injury history, he alone can't carry a talentless team like the Broncos to the playoffs. The Broncos are by far the least talented team in the AFC West IMO.

You have no established receivers. You have a 30 year old RB who was only good last year BECAUSE of Tim Tebow. You have a vastly overrated offensive line. A solid defense at best that got exposed against teams with good QBs. I'm not trying to hate at all, those are just the facts. I'm sure some non biased Bronco fans out there will agree with me.

Given all those facts, I'm not really sure what PM was thinking signing with you guys. If Peyton Manning was serious about winning the Superbowl, he would've signed with the 9ers. To me, him signing with the Broncos just proves he is all about the money. I am dissapointed because I didn't think Peyton was that type of guy, but that's really the only reason I could think of him choosing Denver. The Broncos are so far away from winning the Superbowl it's not even funny.

So enjoy the hype. But mark my words, the Broncos are still a last place team. Remember where you heard it first.

I marked them when you said that last year too. I shall do the same again this year.

Just curious, how do the raiders plan to improve...Did you not cut practically your entire team. In addition to that, you have no first round picks to try and improve and if that was not enough, which FA exactly have you signed that will improve your team?

As far as I see it, you had a talented defense, a top 3 RB, and a good QB with nothing but speed and hopes everywhere else. HOwever, you guys have cut most of your good players and now it looks more like.

The only good player that we cut was Kamerion Wimbley. And he's nothing but a pass rush specialist, which can be found in the later rounds of the draft.

Just before last year started you blew stanfords horn harder than jenna jameson. And I was wrong, you have no firsts for the next two year and no 2,3, or 4th this year....lmao....Your team has brought in a new HC, again. And can improve by waiting for day 3 of the draft. No FA are going to sign there, and well........your back to the basement. I however, would love to take RunDMC off your hands. Hopefully---oh that reminds me. Bush, is leaving also.

I like how all of the teams in the AFCW will be magically "better", except of course for Denver.

How have SD and Oak improved in the offseason? I will give you hint, they haven't.

You can make an argument that KC has, but Denver has improved the most important position on the field (and their weakest link).

This division will come down to Denver and KC.

1. Denver

4. Oakland Raiders

So far in the offseason Denver and SD have made the best moves while KC and Oakland are floundering as usual. Oakland and KC could of been swapped but with the Faid actually have to start over YET again at HC they will struggle as usual. Keeping that Commitment to Excrement intact.

I could care less what the Broncos doctors say. The Broncos were so eager to sign Manning that they probably didn't even care if he was healthy or not. That's what desperate teams do.

The Broncos are going on a FA spending spree like they are one or two pieces away from a championship. LOL, what are all the smart teams like the Packers, Ravens, Steelers, and Raiders doing? They are locking up their own guys. They are focusing on the draft. They aren't overspending for overrated scrubs like Tracy Porter, and backups like Jacob Tamme and Joel Dressen (who ) They aren't breaking the bank on a guy who may or may not be healthy. They are signing good solid FA's on cheap short term contracts so they won't handcuff themselves in the future.

You not exactly sure what type of Peyton Manning you are getting. Dude hasn't played in a year.

When Tom Brady tore his ACL, he was extremely average his next year back. It takes at least a year to recover from a serious injury.

Fact is, Dude has had 4 serious neck procedures in less than a year's time. I'm not going to trust that his neck is healed until I see him get put on his old ass and he gets back up.

And that will happening a lot this year, due to the Broncos having one of the worst pass blocking lines in football.

And Denver's offensive line under Manning, who can actually read defenses and get the ball to his receivers in less than five seconds, is going to be dramatically different. I think people see stats from last year and say "yeah, their line is shit", but look who Denver had under center last season...Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow. Tebow couldn't read defenses. He couldn't get rid of the ball quickly. He got sacked a lot sometimes. But for several games in a row he didn't get sacked at all. So the stats are a bit misleading. Carson Palmer's weapons are about as lethal as a pellet gun.

Seriously? DHB had nearly 1,000 receiving yards last year. Denarius Moore was a top 4 rookie WR last year. He had more yards then Eric Decker and Demaryius Thomas. Jacoby Ford is still one of the most explosive players in the league, just needs to stay healthy. Marcel Reece is a matchup nightmare. And you already know about Darren McFadden, who was leading the league in rushing before a freak injury ended his season.

The Raiders are loaded on offense.

Records against individual teams are hardly relevant in this scenario. Look at JaMarcus Russel's record against the Broncos. He kicked the shit out of Denver repeatedly. What's he doing for work now?

Im just saying he has never ripped us like you would expect an elite QB like him to do. Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, and Drew Brees have all ripped the Raiders a new one everytime we played them. For some reason, Manning has not. Until I see him do it, I will keep bringing that up.

I agree that having Manning back there should help the offenses line, because he is one of the best at reading the defense and getting the ball out of his hands quickly.

But I've always thought Ryan Clady was seriously overrated. You look at his sack stats and the dude is not close to being elite. Everybody always brings up his rookie season where he allowed only 1 sack, but they fail to realize that year he also gave up the most QB pressures in the NFL that year. He's overrated. Orlando Franklin might as well switch to guard, because he can't pass block to save his life. Everytime we play the Broncos, Richard Seymour and Tommy Kelly always destroy your interior line as well.

Manning is going to get hit a lot this year.

They have two picks this year, a 5th rounder and a 6th rounder. Poor Dennis Allen. They will probably get a compensatory pick or two for FA losses last season, but the best comp pick is the end of the third round.

It's hard to feel bad for a guy who got promoted from a position coach to a HC in the span of one season, but I truly feel sorry for Dennis Allen.

Dennis Allen is a good coach. He single-handedly turned a terrible defense, with little talent on it, into an average defense last year for the Broncos. Without Dennis Allen last year, the Broncos would be picking in the top 3.

Imagine what Dennis Allen can do with a defense that actually has talented players on it, like the Raiders do. At the very worst, we'll be a middle of the pack defense next year which will be good enough for us, because our offense is so dynamic.

Richard Seymour, Tommy Kelly, Desmond Bryant, LaMar Houston, Matt Shaughnessy, Rolando McClain, Aaron Curry, Tyvon Branch, Michael Huff, Ron Bartell....the list goes on and on. The Raiders defense is way more talented than the Broncos defense. Dennis Allen is licking his chops. Our offense is so dynamic? While you were 9th in yards you were 16th in points, hardly dynamic.

We finished 9th in yards without the best RB in the league Darren McFadden missing the last ten games. And a QB in Carson Palmer, who came straight off the couch, didn't know the offense at all, and wasn't in football shape. We also had multiple injuries to key guys like Denarius Moore, Marcel Reece, Jacoby Ford etc...

When you consider all that, it's EXTREMELY impressive that the Raiders were able to finish top ten in yards. Now with everybody back healthy, and now that Carson Palmer has a full offseason to learn the offense and get acclimated with his receivers, the sky is the limit for this offense.

I will be shocked if we are not a top 5 offense next year.

We have this kid by the name of Taiwan Jones ready to step in if DMC gets hurt. Taiwan Jones was drafted in the fourth round last year, and I'd take him over ANY RB on the Broncos roster. We also just traded for Mike Goodson, another speedster from Carolina. We have plenty of RB depth, kid.

Defense was wrecked and now they have less talent there.

Less talent? Explain please. We replaced Stanford Routt, who was statistically one of the worst CBs in the NFL last year, with Ron Bartell who is a borderline pro bowler. We replaced Lito Shepard with Shawntae Spencer, who is still a good player. We did lose Kamerion Wimbley, but we replaced him with a very solid veteran in Phillip Wheeler. We also just signed Dave Tolfeson, who is a good pass rusher from the Giants.

So please explain to me how we have less talent on defense. I'll wait.

LOL you should worry about your own INT machine. His name is Peyton Manning. Last time he played, he was giving it up almost as quick as MOtorboat does when he goes to the gay club.

And FYI, Most of Palmer's INTs came from him not having chemistry with our young receivers. With a full offseason and training camp of working out together, you won't see as many INTs.

Palmer throw INTs like a machine before he broke the Raiders bank of ever building a good team. Mannings neck will be fine, its his arm strength and aging to worry about. I said Larry Fitzgerald because everytime the Rams play the Cardinals, Bartell gives up a touchdown to him. Which happened to be about twice a year since they are division rivals. Sorry him getting burned by Fitz over and over is still fresh in my memory.
I could name about 15 other WR who completely embarass him every game he plays, but tbh its embarassing. You obviously dont know much about Bartell, you just see a free agent corner #1. There is a reason the Rams cut him from an already terrible team.
