OK so we have the #12 pick and the #18 pick. I say we package the #18 pick with the 3rd rounder we received and include a a fourth in order to trade up and grab Raji. Then we use of #12 to grab Rey Maulaluga. This gives us a decen linebacking corps with 3 or 4 decent starters in the nfl. Then we have Raji that will hopefully eat up some linemen. What do you guys think?

I think Raji just tested positive for the cheebah. He's dropping.

I'll say it again...Raji is a SINGLE GAP DT. Not good for the 3-4

Every year a few prospects test positive for marijuana but it does not hurt there stock all that much. I still think, that even in 3-4, Raji and THomas, two agile DT's can cause havoc in the backfield. Pairing up those 2 with Dumerville I think will be awesome. I think Rey will also be a great player. he plays with passion and will give the defense some youth and leadership in the coming years.

Dumerville won't be a DE in a 3-4. He was barely big enough to be a DE in a 4-3. Maybe on 3rd-and-forever type situations, you could line Doom up on the line but, otherwise, he's a LB now.

I hope we dont get rid of that 18th overall pick just to move up in the draft

Raji at 12 is now realistic over a positive drug test... I say we wait it out

Tom I don't mind the idea but we would need to get to at least the 4th pick in draft and I'm not sure that would get it done.

You might be right but there a lot of analysts that think because of his athleticism that he could be a very good 3-4.

If you can't get Curry, sit back and see what falls in your lap, we need "alot" of new faces.

I hope we don't move up to get a QB, like some analysts are saying. :banghead:
