Only if he's taken late in the draft, and becomes the next Brady or Cassel. :D

Whilst it's a nice thought, let him build his own legacy else where.

It'd be nigh on impossible for him, having the legacy of a legend that happens to be his father to live up to..............

He could turn out like Chris Sims or Brian Griese.
Then again he could be like Peyton Manning.
After we draft him we just need Kyle Shanahan to replace McDaniels.

Manning didn't play for his father's old team so he didn't face the expection that Elway's son would face if he played here.

So much for the genius Bill Devaroe... and Cicero.

youre probably right, judging a quarterback off his highschool play might be a little misleading... Maybe he is a late bloomer... but in highschool I went to several games, and was not impressed at all

All of his problems from what I have read are nothing that can't be worked on. He's looking like physically a prototypical NFL QB, who inherited his daddy's howitzer. We'll see how he does. I wish him well and would love to see him in the Pros...

I just don't want to see him trying to live upto his dad's legacy here................not fair on him or the fans

Well, if he doesn't make it in the NFL, he "might" be able to get a job in an arena league.

It wouldn't be fair to the kid because of the expectations fans would have for him. Honestly I wouldn't want to play in Denver because of that.

He had offers from some pretty good programs, so I would be inclined to think there are a number of college coaches that would disagree with you.

I have never seen him play, but I am looking forward to it.

But what about his arm? Does he have his dad's strong arm also?

Maybe the Bears will draft him.

Shazam!
04-05-2009, 02:13 PM
Scout.com's analysis says his arm strength is great and he can get the ball anywhere, but his accuracy, patience, timing, mechanics and footwork are poor. That can all be worked out over time, and even daddy can help him with that stuff. He's young and raw. He can be a talent, a nobody, or he can be Rick Mirer. We'll see soon what he is.

like Chris Simms not being as good as Phil Simms.

Just in the NFL, not being both Giants as that would have been

Jack Elway has left the Arizona State football team. He's still going to school at the college but he quit football. The head coach said that he was just burned out on football. He was going to start at some point in his college career but he's decided to stop before even getting started.

If there is any justice we will be lucky enough to be in the SAM BRADFORD, COLT MCCOY, and on a much lesser note TIM TEBOW sweepstakes next year.

Mannings father wasn't a QB of Elway's caliber either.
