Tebow is 9th with QBs over 200 attempts.

It's a great read and the adjustments are very good to anyone who is interested.

EDIT: An INT - Can't edit the title.

And, other than in the Buffalo game, this is why I do have some faith in him. If he can continue to develop and CONTINUE TO PROTECT THE BALL, he can help us win games.

Did you know Tebow had a passer rating above 140 for the first half of the Buffalo game?

The second half of that game was just abysmal.

If you can barely complete a pass to your receivers what shot does the defensive backs have? This is an abysmal argument because neither side of the line can really win the argument.

I like Tebow and hope he is the future of the franchise with or without Manning but I do think the not throwing INTs = protects the ball gets over played with Tim.

While it is true that he does not throw picks often it does seem like he is fumbling it pretty often, 6 times, so they kind of balance out there.

You're right. We need more turnovers.

It's a pointless stat. It's pretty difficult to throw picks when the QB throws under 10 passes a game or when most of his passes for the first 55 minutes of the game are slants and screens. Just another meaningless stat for the Tebois to try to justify Tebow being a "good QB".

Of course, the bashers show up to discredit Tebow and ANYTHING positive said about him... Pretty much on par for the course these days... It's almost like some other QB threw for 316 against the Steelers in the playoffs. It COULDN'T have been Tebow, according to some on here he can't even grip a football. Weak sauce.

Did you know Tebow was the most likely NFL QB to not complete a pass for entire qtr's?

Winning is a useless stat.

It didnt help Orton or Vince Young. They had fluke years too. Prater took us to the playoffs if anyone did.

Don't care about Young, but it didn't help Orton because he was on the wrong side of that stat as a Bronco.

I agree about prater. He made some great plays to get into field goal position.

He is the most likely to throw and incomplete pass of the starters in the NFL with his 47% competion percentage.

No, that was Tebow...of course the following week he couldn't do shit against the worst passing defense in the league...

Nope, not with the worst O-line performance of the season (or at the very least in the playoffs).

The Broncos finished with a 5.9 NYLPI rating, by far the worst of any team during the playoffs.

Indeed.

If you read some of the comments in that link you will see people right off the bat already poking holes through their analysis. Granted, they say its subjective but a lot of the stuff they miss is absolutely blatant. And as you said he has a tendency to fumble a lot as well so his turnover margin is abysmal right now. In 23 games he has 9 Int's and 15 Fumbles. This is almost on par with a guy like Duante Culpepper who through 28 games had 16 Int's and 29 Fumbles.

For a QB who rushes the ball more then he passes. This stat doesn't mean a whole lot. If anything, they should compare his RB stats, with other RBs with over 200 attempts rushing.
