Update as we go.

Bears trade for Brandon Marshall.......wow. With Bates there as OC, wonder if Eddie is a target too.

I also heard they will be renaming the Bears the Chicago Divas.

S Meriweather going to visit Denver

from article:

As free agency opened, the Broncos had identified two primary needs: A proven starting safety who can help bring along the kids Rahim Moore and Quinton Carter, and, well, a quarterback.

The Broncos have reached out to Brian Dawkins about his intentions for the 2012 season, but the 16-year NFL safety and nine-time Pro Bowler has said while he's close to a decision on whether or not he will retire, he's not 100 percent sure. Dawkins, 38, is now a free agent.

Broncos, Dolphins both in contact with NT Soliai

With negotiations ongoing with nose tackle Broderick Bunkley, the Denver Broncos have reached out to Miami Dolphins free agent nose tackle Paul Soliai, according to NFL Network’s Albert Breer.

Soliai represents one of the few interior impact players on the free-agent market. NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reports the Dolphins are pushing to retain him, according to a league source.

A fourth-round pick by Miami in the 2007 draft, Soliai earned his first Pro Bowl nod in 2011.

S Meriweather going to visit Denver

UGH. He should not be allowed into our facility. This guy is garbage both on the field and off. If you thought Raheem Moore and Carter were liabilities in coverage, Meriweather is on a whole new level. Saw him with Chicago last year and I gotta say, there was a reason Lovie Smith benched his ass so fast and Belichick cut him after his "pro bowl" years. Get LaRon Landry here pronto.

NFL Network just said the following: Vincent Jackson is going to Tampa. Piere Garcon to Washington. Josh Morgan to Washington. Mario is headed to Buffalo with Manningham for a visit.

I also do not like Brandon Merriweather and dont want him here so I hope that doesnt come to anything.

Kyle Orton is visiting Cowboys.

Reports: Raiders RB Bush visiting Cards.

Multiple outlets are reporting that free-agent RB Michael Bush is visiting Arizona. He rushed for 977 yards and seven TDs last season with Oakland. If the reports are true, it's somewhat surprising given the Cards' cap constraints and their depth at the position with Beanie Wells, Ryan Williams and LaRod Stephens-Howling.

not true at this point. . .

now, give it another day or so, and i'll be just as concerned. . . :D

but we're talking to bunkley and soliai, which is priority el numero uno. . . and while i can't say that we'll go after any of them, guys like tracy porter, benjarvus green-ellis, mike tolbert, leron mcclain, jameel mcclain, dan connor, david hawthorne, jason jones, robert meachem, mario manningham and a number of others are all still available. . . that doesn't mean i'm dismissing your concern, at all-- it WILL become a reality very quickly if the big-head SOB drags it out much further. . .

it's not panic time quite yet, though. . . we've got a day or two. . .

Redskins upgraded their WR corps in 1 day!! that's crazy. Add RG3 and Shanny has set UP his team for a full out attack on the NFC East. Let's see how that works out for him.

Then the Bears. Marshall and maybe Wayne. Cutler is gonna have weapons along with Forte. They can make some noise

I'm not too worried, I didn't expect Denver to be in the hunt for Mario Williams, Vincent Jackson (though I did have a slight hope about VJ) and some of the other names flying right now. And I do expect this to be a defensive heavy free agent period for Denver, and so far that looks to be the case with those we've scheduled visits with.

Now in hindsight. He should have accepted that trade to go to Miami last season. Who knows maybe He would have done well and still been a starter. Now He will just ride the PINE. But the Cowboys are a good place for him since Romo tends to miss games.

Garcon wasnt much of anything without Manning...Royal wasnt much of anything period and Morgan cant stay healthy. Add that they'll cut Moss and they have 3 guys that have a combined 3 good seasons. Their WR corps is set alright...with mediocrity.

Im glad Snyder doesnt own Denver
