I've been trying to work on some performance tweaking and a couple of them have gone wrong, including the last 20 minutes when the site has been VERY slow to load or wouldn't load at all.

Sorry about that.

Ok, I think I have successfully setup some caching software on the server. Let me know if anyone has any problems, but I think it's running right now.

I'm curious how the site feels to people today. I enabled the caching last night and to me at work, the site seems to be loading MUCH quicker than it has of late. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

It's been taking a long time to load the ads then the browser session crashed... all the other tabs in Chrome were ok... Then I got a dns lookup error... back in again... still slow loading ads...

I don't have chrome, but in IE and Firefox it's running good. I'll load Chrome when I get home and take a look.

Just happened again.. it's hanging on ad2.adfarm1.adition.com

This webpage is not available
The server at bidder.mathtag.com can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome

If everybody else is ok then it must be my good buddies over at Comcast... :(
