Denver (8-8) completed a monumental collapse, becoming the first team since division play began in 1967 to miss the playoffs after having a three-game lead with three weeks to go. Needing just one win to wrap up the division, the Broncos lost on the road to the Carolina Panthers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/carolinapanthers/profile?team=CAR), at home to the Buffalo Bills (http://www.nfl.com/teams/buffalobills/profile?team=BUF) and then to the Chargers (NFL.COM). This is just a preview of your 2009 season, chumps. Actually, you'll never have a three game lead.....:coffee:

Every team in the NFL has been through tough times...

Why don't you tell me your favorite team? I might remember some things you would rather forget. :)

Still got your Kordell Stewart jersey?

I'm no NFL quarterback, but I don't think he should have thrown that ball over the middle.

Maybe he should have kept it and just ran to the endzone.

It's interesting that there is a thread about Tom Jackson on the site right now.

You might want to remind Bradshaw that the Steelers don't wear orange jerseys...

Talk about a choke job. Who throws two picks in the 4th quarter to a freaking LINEBACKER in a close playoff game?

A bonehead.

That's hillarious.

Because, the Chargers haven't won jack.

I'm sure another year older will make Tomlinson even healthier and more productive. :)

Enjoy the letdown, Chargers fans! The man that built San Diego's success is dead and buried. They can't ride his success forever...

Time to return to the basement. When San Diego belongs.

DeBerg didn't throw the Super Bowl away at the goal line.

And, who in the stadium DIDN'T know that Sharpe was going to get that ball?

Jeezus. It was just one play. And, you knew where the ball was going before the snap!

If you didn't win, then you lost.

Maybe if the Steelers could get a quarterback that isn't a complete bonehead, they could manage to finish some games.

Every time a boneheaded Steelers quarterback is asked to finish a game that really matters, he throws a pick--and the game--away.

Meh. Your thread sucks.

If you don't have anything to add, leave.

What's funny is how you don't know anything about football that happened more than 10 years ago. After that you have a few fuzzy names and facts here and there; but there's really no understanding of how things went down.

That makes it really difficult to talk smack about a pair of rival franchises that have been slugging it out for over 25 years.

You aren't capable of supporting the thread you started.

Did we ever find out what that creepy bulge was on Kordel Stewert's neck was? It looked like he was breaking out in hives.

But not nearly as creepy as those gill like things on Mark McGuire's neck:
