Peter King's take from the NFL meetings. Like him or hate him he's a lot more reputable then some of the hacks and wannabe's writing or commenting on the situation.

Peter King thought the Super Bowl was a good game this year. Schefter is the only one I trust...

Huh? It wasn't a good game? It was one of the more exciting Super Bowls I have seen.

the reffing was pretty horrible, but the second half was very entertaining.

Anyone mind giving a synopsis of this video since I can't get it to play?

PK basically says that they are not listening to anyone at this time. Condoleeza Rice has given advice to take a broad look at things and not focus on day to day headlines. JM will not do anything until he has a 1v1 with Jay. Peter King expects Cutler to be starting for the Broncos on opening day.

I really don't get the hatred for Peter King. I've always enjoyed his reporting.

Is he as spot-on with "breaking" stories as Schefter? No, but nobody is apparently. That doesn't mean that King doesn't have something to add to the conversation.

Personally, I really enjoy his Monday Morning Quarterback during the season.

The second half was very exciting BECAUSE of the horrible reffing. I have a good rant about it in my blog: http://jackeduphack.blogspot.com

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind King at all. I gave him a good rake in my rant but it was only because nobody was seeing that game the same way I did. Maybe I'm just cranky...;-)

Wasn't Peter King one of the first to say that he didn't think Cutler would be a Bronco this year?

A.) That's a week old.

And

B.) That's a whole ton of speculation, which has been addressed this week by public comments by the coach.

I don't remember if he was one of the first but I do remember him saying that Culter would be traded.
