I wasn't going to do a bracket this year until I saw that Obama did one. I figure if I can't even make a better bracket than Obama, I should just shut up.

I lost two games (BYU, Butler) right out of the box which is normal for me. The first two days always look like disasters aside from the 1-16, 2-15 and 3-14 games.

For anyone that cares, my dark horse pick is Villanova which will get to the title game and lose to UConn. Although keep an eye out for Michigan St. If they can survive the Elite Eight, they'll have a de facto home court advantage for the Final Four.

I was perfect until WVU f-ed me up. Every year I pick against them and every year they win...this year I pick them to win and they lose to Dayton.

Here is mine

This happens to me every March. The teams I pick as upsets don't win (like VCU, Temple and Utah St.) and the teams I pick to survive the first round don't win (like W. Kentucky, Arizona and Clemson). The only upsets I correctly predicted were Dayton and Maryland.

You can make book I will lose every 8-9 matchup no matter who I select.

But I'm almost always in good shape for the second weekend because I ignore the fools bet of picking a low seed to advance to the Sweet 16 as one almost always does. It's just that you can never guess who it is.

So even though I'm batting just over .500 on the Thurs-Fri games, I'm still completely alive for next weekend so I have a chance to catch up big. I was sorta rooting for Pitt or Louisville to lose today even though I had selected them. I have both getting upset before the Elite Eight and had they lost my brackets would not have been nuked as badly as a lot of other guys.

So far I got a perfect Bracket except for Wake. I picked all the teams I don't like to loose in the second round and so far they have done so. ;)

Still doing ok. My Elite 8 is intact and i'm 4th in my pool. But more important.. I'm the highest ranked person with UCONN winning it. :D

Man, OSU can shoot the 3. They are relentless from back there.

Yes but i'm honestly not worried about this game. No 8/9 seed has ever beat a #1 seed.

It would crush my bracket somewhat if Pitt lost but i do enjoy the upsets. But i think this game will come down to who can stay hot in the second half. So far both teams have played well without allowing the other pull away for long.

2002 UCLA 105, Cincinnati 101
2000 North Carolina 60, Stanford 53

I think Pitt is beginning to be too much for OSU. The only shot OSU had was knocking down them 3's and they've been ice cold in the 2nd half.

Don't get many Big 12 games in FL. The only games we get are SEC and ACC, mainly.

Doing good still.. I have a final four of all the #1's with UCONN and Pitt in the NCG. I'm nervous as hell the way Pitt has been playing.

Well Oklahoma losing ****** me over today.
If OU won then I would be in the running to still win 300 plus bucks.
And maybe another 350 or so in another league.
I had Memphis beating OU in the title game.

And almost everyone had the stupid ******* piece of shit tarheels winning it all.
God Damn I ******* hate them so damn much.
Go Nova. :salute:

I had Lousville, Memphis, OU, and NOva in the final 4.
At least I got 1 right.
But who cares. I'm already done.

I ******* hate basketball sometimes.

I got all four of my Final Four in this year. Now, keep in mind that I was horrible during the opening weekend, which is the norm for me. If I pick the 8 seed, the 9 seed wins. if I pick the 9 seed, the 8 seed wins. Same with 7-10, 6-11 and 5-12. Can't win 'em to save my life.

But I know the Top 4 teams in each region almost always survive the first weekend so it is really like picking a tournament of 16 when you make out the brackets. This time, I got lucky. Too bad I have no money riding this year.
