Pretty sweet highlight vid and list.

Personally I think #3 not only should've been #1, but was the best play in the entire NFL this season.

Flushed out of the pocket, stiff arms a linebacker, throws to Demaryius who then breaks tackles all the way down to the end zone? Sorry but that's crazy individual effort from both unrivaled by anything else on that list.

I agree with #1. Any NFL QB could have made that throw, but Thomas'
run showed us that we have a #1 receiver and then some.

I thought #6 should have been #2. Prater won that game. Period.

Silly. People knock Tebow saying he physically lacks the tools to throw over the middle and that's why we worked the outside and deep so much.

Well... That throw is a quick hit over the middle against 9 in the box. A very underrated read and pass.

I was not knocking on Tebow. I was talking about one play, not Tebow's
general level of play. I would have said that if Elway had made that throw.
It was a very easy throw for an NFL caliber QB, and it wasn't a read. It
was a designed play: They talked about it in subsequent interviews. It just
wasn't such an easy run after the catch.

Another play I thought should be in there somewhere is McGahee's 60-yard
TD run. That was very exciting, and he showed he still has some wheels.

Didn't I?

Just kidding, TR.

But I think Tebow's throw might have been overrated because of the
moment in time -- how it happened and what it meant toward the outome
of the game. But getting down to mechanics, it was a pretty simple throw
on the professional level. As I said, Thomas' run is what made it
spectacular. Regarding Tebow's part in it: Tebow himself has made more
spectacular plays than he did in that specific instance . . .

Many. But it functions as a microcosm debunking haters "claims".

But agreeing with your theme, like I said #3 is the best play of the year, hands down, imo

That just makes me want the next 7 months go by really fast. I miss my Broncos football. :(

Also need to figure out what to do with my Royal jersey I got his rookie season, don't think he'll be here next season. Time for a Von Miller. I will just have to wear my Meck jersey from now on. Seems every time I get a Broncos jersey of current players, they are gone. Pryce, Cutler, Wilson, Lynch. Ah well....Meck will always be my favorite anyways. Now if I could just find a decent priced Gradishar....may just have to make a custom one.

I think you are dismissing the importance of 'moment in time' a bit too much.

If there's one thing Tebow showed me this year is that making great plays at the right moments can make up for a lot of inconsistency.

Well, once again, I wasn't alluding to Tebow's general level of play. I was
referring specifically to that single play. For the QB, it involved a simple
short pitch to a wide open receiver. It was the receiver who turned it into
a spectacular play, and the receiver's ability to evade tackles and outrun
defenders is the principal reason Denver won that game.

That is not putting Tebow down at all. As I said, I would make the same
observation had Elway thrown that pass. Tebow indeed has made some
good plays at the right moments. In this play, he had to get the ball to
the receiver and lead him properly so the receiver could do his thing. That
was a pretty simple job for the QB in this one play, one that should be
expected of any NFL caliber QB.

I could say the same thing about the receiver. He caught the ball in stride and had a lead on his only tackler whom he stiff armed to stay ahead of. I would make the same observation if Shannon Sharpe caught that pass.

*shrugs*

They both did what they were supposed to do at the right time. Which is important.

You could say the same thing about the receiver, but you wouldn't be right.
Shannon Sharpe would not have gotten to the end zone because he was
not as fast as Thomas is. To say that Thomas' performance on that play
wasn't any more spectacular than Tebow's pass is not being realistic.

You are right top. Thomas did a fantastic job because he decided that he should run as fast as he could. Good call.

Most guys wouldn't do that.

#10 was my favorite play by the defense all year. Dume launched Brady into outerspace and drove him into the core of the earth.

But I agree with #1 as the best overall play. That was an excellent pass by Tebow and incredible play by Thomas. Gives us hope guys on what we might continue to see next year! Add in the fact that it was OT/nail biter and in the playoffs. It was our first win IN the playoffs in a long time....so yes it was the most overall exciting play.

Agree. Elvis was hands down our DMVP this past season. It's a shame despite that play we still got our asses kicked thanks to Allen's brilliant rush 3 and give Tom all day to throw against soft zones game plan.

I think our defense is on the verdge of becoming something special after getting JDR. We have got some key pieces already and now we just need to add to it.

A good MLB and another DT, and another impact player in the secondary,
and I think the Broncos will have a top unit.

If anyone is baiting here it's you. You say Tebow's play was nothing special because any NFL QB could do it and then say Thomas was spectacular because he ran faster than Ike Taylor.

Keep trying to muddy the waters, one of these days you'll figure it out.

A COUPLE key pieces for sure, but we need to completely revamp the CB depth, add another capable safety, inject some talent at MLB and if we don't move to improve the DT spot, at least get better depth.

Oh and another DE would be swell too :)

Actually, I didn't have a whole lot of use for it until the Orton issue.
