Jay Cutler and Josh McDaniels met on Saturday to resolve their differences, kiss, make-up and move on. That’s not exactly how it went down, though. In fact, if you could think of the exact opposite of kissing and making up, that’s basically what happened. Cutler says the relationship with his new coach is in disrepair, claims that McDaniels still has a thing for Matt Cassel and he wants to be traded now more than ever.
I understand that Jay feels verbally and emotionally abused in his current relationship with the Broncos. But the alternative is a soulless, wife-beating monster that will rip Cutler’s heart out:
The Denver Broncos' possible loss could be the Detroit Lions' gain. According to Tom Kowlaski, a writer for MLive.com and a Sporting News correspondent, the Lions will talk to the Broncos about the possibility of acquiring quarterback Jay Cutler in a trade.
The Broncos were in trade discussions a few weeks ago with Detroit and Tampa Bay, according to an NFL.com report.
Maybe Denver isn’t Cutler’s soulmate, but he might wanna tough it out for a little while. There's not much McDaniels could do to Cutler that would be worse than being stuck with Detroit for the next few years.
