Dear Tned,

Can we make Cutler vs. McD threads opt-in? ;)

Love,
Slick

Dear Slick - I can't answer for Tned, but I'm finding I have to go into P&R even more than before just to bask in the comparative civility in there compared to the football section. Thats a sad commentary in itself.

Can we also have just a forum for Cutler vs McD.

Any subject that has like 50 or so different threads directed at it seems to me could warrent it's own forum.

With that in mind, we might as well put in an "apology" forum as well. . .

Kind of makes us long for the civil days of the good Jake/bad Jake discussions.

I'm still dealing with the fact that McWhatshisface is younger than I am. :tsk:

I dunno, I seem to remember the Jay-Jake discussions getting just as nasty.

They weren't this nasty. This has been bad. And yes, I'm guilty of it too...

The thing about the Plummer deal was that most of it was on the field, so it was all in public view.

This isn't. This is a ton of speculation on everyone's part.

It's human nature to play down the significance of something in the past vs the current.

Jay/Jake got pretty bad.

This is pretty bad.

But then again... I haven't been following the discussion too closely... makes me just wanna :tsk:.

I'd rather :elefant:

Yeah, I've pretty much quit reading the Jay-Josh threads at this point. The Jake-Jay wars were throughouly entertaining to me but this has just gotten annoying.

It was bad enough when I realised that

a) I was older than any player on the roster

&

b) I've been watching football over here since before some of our current players were born.............

then we go and get a coach younger than my younger brother :tsk:
