Wonder if the Raiders will wear chrome helmets, especially for day games.

A couple of years ago, someone came out with pics of what were supposed to be new look uniforms that Nike was supposed to be producing which proved to be a fraudulent report. So I did a Google search to see if any reputable sports news source (NFL.com, ESPN, SI, etc.) was reporting the same thing. I couldn't find any. I found a few sites selling vapor jet gloves, but they had nothing to do with the NFL.

The closest exception would be a site that I never heard of selling glove with the NFL logo, but not the individual team logos.

My fraud alert radar is puzzled who these site that I'd never heard of before can get their hands on the product before much more reputable site have. Sites like, NFL.com.

I didn't see any changes to the logos. I'm still wondering if the NFL will allow those gloves. NCAA instituted a 15 yard penalty if players put the gloves together in celebration.

NFL rules won't allow it, and any major changes are approved about a year and a half in advance.

Panther logo is redesigned. Notice the lip and it is less angular.

The Dolphins logo is a different shade of aqua.

The Falcons have an outer gold border.

The Seahawk incorporates more silver.

Colts logo? Yeah. White on Blue now instead of Blue on White.

Check it out again, eh ;)

They REALLY need to redesign that "flaming thumbtack" logo for the Titans.

Can't believe that hasn't been reworked yet.

I noticed the close ups at the web site, which I hadn't noticed before...

The Colts did where a blue helmet with white horseshoes on the back as an alternate. I don't remember when, but it was recent, so that just may be a case of someone liking the blue background on the glove better. It's hard to tell if there really is a different shade of aqua on the Dolphins logo, or if there is more silver in the Seahawks logo or not.

That gold stripe around the Falcons logo is definitely new and the Panthers logo is definitely different...

Looks like that is exactly what they will be doing, if this article is still accurate, as it was written on October 12, 2010.

On the day that the NFL announced Nike will replace Reebok as the league’s uniform supplier in 2012, a Nike official said changes are coming to NFL jerseys.

Nike Brand President Charlie Denson told Darren Rovell of CNBC that the change would be similar to changes that Nike has made to college football jerseys.

I don't think Nike can "redesign" logos in the NFL. If the logos have changed, it HAS to be coming from the NFL team themselves, or they got some permissions to change to make it fit better on the gloves. Otherwise its a HUGE copyright infringment. No reason for Nike to do that at all. If they use one color more than the other, thats strictly a design stand point to make them stand out on the merchandise better. I dont think its anything more than that.

The Panthers logo is new. Apparently this is kind of an unofficial official unveiling of it, even though it won't be "revealed" until most likely April. From what I understand it was designed by the NFL, not Nike. The other "changes" I'm not seeing, other than there definitely is a gold highlight around the Falcons logo that isn't normally there.

Exactly. Nike didn't design it (unless the Panthers hired Nike to redesign it a during the season and this is the one they chose). But if its a new change, it's coming from the team.

Thats a great logo. That one is going to be around for a long time. GREAT design, great integration and history within the logo, as well as much symbolism with the color choices. The Titans are very proud of their logo, as they should be.
