Vic Lombardi and Gary Miller, bounced from their morning sports talk show on 102.3 FM The Ticket in December, have joined Mile High Sports radio (1510 AM and 93.7 FM).

Mile High Sports president James Merilatt said the Lombardi-Miller start date and time slot for the Monday through Friday show will be announced soon.

Excellent news. I hope that they will be able to continue to broadcast from Vic's basement.

Yes!!

I have been calling for this exact thing since it was announced they would be gone from the ticket.

Hey, maybe Spano read my question to him in his Q&A thread. I can't conclusively say that's why this is happening but I'm going to take the credit anyway. Yay me!!!!

This is wonderful! Hopefully they will still be on in the mornings, although Evans and Klatt have kind of grown on me, i'd rather listen to Vic and Gary.

They will have to be on in the mornings, because of their tv commitment, which they need to be at cbs 4 in the afternoon.

I would assume it would still be from Vic's basement, as everything is set up there already, unless the ticket paid for the equipment, and it is now gone. Never did hear how that went down.

As some mentioned, Mile High Sports seemed like the only real option for them.

Chazoe claims that was him.

In reality it was me.

By them going to MHS, something needs to be done to make room for Vic/Gary, as MHS currently has a full weekday lineup. That would also have been the same if they would have went to the fan.

I offered them $50 a week to move to BroncosForums Radio and they turned me down.

They probably figured that you would want to be in Vic's basement with them :D

I think me stating they had to move to Arkansas was the deal breaker...

Did you mention to your wife that she had two more mouths to feed yet?

I guess the salt pork and grits and the Okie . . . er, Arkie . . . drawl might have been a turn-off?
