Wow, We have one of the best wide receiving corps out there, just look at the guys we have:

Brandon Marshall-Big old dude, he can become a pretty big time name in the next few years if he works at it, and if he meshes with the new spread offense.

Eddie "Casino" Royal (as Jamie Dukes calls him)- Small, fast, good hands, he always seems to be there when we need a big play, and sometimes when we don't. He is the only reason we beat Cleveland, and he just shredded DeAngelo Hall on the opening week. He, also, should be getting ready to improve in the new scheme.

Brandon Stokley- Peyton Manning calls him the best slot receiver he has ever thrown to. It seems like every time we throw to him, it's a first down. Super reliable.

Jabar Gaffney- Fairly decent, got lost among welker and moss the past 2 seasons. Could be a pretty decent alternate.

David Anderson- I have heard people call him baby welker, plus this:

Obviously, we can't keep all these guys, and have them all play well, although I want to keep as many as I can, I just don't see us having every one of them as a main part of our offense. I really like Stokley as a player, I just don't see us keeping him past his contract, because he is too 1-dimensional, he is a damn good slot receiver but he isn't much more of a threat than that.

The offense wasn't the problem. Our WRs were pretty solid before ysterday.

now they are really solid with backup if something should happen..

D will be addressed in the draft if not over the next few days..

WRs rarely play much year one anyway.. Eddie was an anomaly like Boldin..

Still don't understand the Gaffney signing. His production is not that much different than Chad Jackson.

As for Stokley, it would be a shame if he's not on the team this year. The guy is clutch and one of Cutler's most reliable receivers.

If they keep six WR's, this group wouldn't be bad:

Marshall
Royal
Stokley
Gaffney
Anderson (if deal is completed)
Jackson

I think Chad Jackson has one foot in the grave with this team. This makes me think that MCD doesnnt think very highly of him.

Stokely needs to stay on the team to keep Brandon Marshall from doing stupid glove celebrations in the end zone.

The worry there is....

Another offensive minded coach who thinks that a great offense will make up for a horrendous defense.

I hope I'm wrong.
