We all heard about Mike McCoy interviewing for the Jags job (which was supposed to be today, but got postponed because of our win over the Steelers), but now Dave Logan is reporting that the Rams are seeking to interview Dennis Allen...

DA better not leave, I love that dude. :tsk:

Please stay, DA!!!

Shows how good we've been the past while. Apparently coaching us back to competitiveness is on par with winning world championships or something.

I thought Fisher was a shoe-in for the Rams job.

Elway, find a way to make him stay!!!

can't make either of them stay if they get a head coaching opportunity, but i would certainly offer dennis allen a promotion to assistant head coach/defense-- and more importantly, a nice raise. . .

i'm guessing he's probably a long shot, but it would kill me if we get the defense back to respectable and immediately lose the coordinator. . .

The Broncos' unexpected success in 2011 has helped their coordinators become hot head coaching candidates.

According to a league source, the St. Louis Rams formally asked the Broncos' permission today to interview Dennis Allen, Denver's first-year defensive coordinator.

Allen, 39, is in his 10th NFL season, having previously worked as a defensive assistant with New Orleans and Atlanta.

Article I posted states that both McCoy and Allen can interview Thursday afternoon. I am assuming that the Broncos may be traveling to NE Thursday, and that is why they can interview then. For Allen, if it was done the same as Fisher - I read an article that said the first interview was with Stan Kroenke - owner, and the article states that he lives in Denver.
