Fox31 news here in Denver just reported that the only FA Bronco who has been asked to possibly come back is Kenny Peterson. The others were informed that they would not be asked back. So what does this mean?

This deserves it's own thread......

NATE WEBSTER!!!

Good riddance! :coffee:

I've been waiting forever to say that arm tackler is goners! Hallelujah!!!

do you think he and winborn will celebrate when their phones don't ring?

Yea, Winborn is trying on all the wigs at his ladies hair supply store in Atlanta.

Webster is running in circles after his helmet that fell down the stairs.

For a moment......

When I saw the thread.......

I was worried....

Like a shot of ice cold water to the tesicles.....

My faith in the natural order of the universe is restored.

Although I won't miss his play on the field, I'm not gonna lie...I am going to miss the hilarity of him losing his helmet 5 times a game.

Or Winborn celebrating as the referee motions for a 1st down.

there was no novelty to that for me. 90% of the time winborn was dancing i was wishing a rogue stadium bird would kamikaze into his face.

Hell as bad as our run D was, holding someone to a 1st down instead of a 70 yard TD run actually was worth celebrating at times last season!

Now I can sleep well. He is on my all-time Broncos turd list, right near the Top. It was gutwrenching watching that bum play football. Honest to gawd it was.

Doesn't this belong in Other NFL or Free Agency or something?

Where's a mod when you need one?

I think that discussing a roster move that vastly improves our defense is worthy of being in team talk.

Dude wasn't very good, but he always played hard and played with passion. I have nothing against him, he just simply isn't good enough to be a starter in this league. I think some of you are being a little harsh...if he wouldn't have played hard I would understand, but he did IMO.

Cya!

As Honz said, he did seem to play hard. He just doesn't have the skills.

I wish Webster the best, just not with us. Easily one of the worst players in recent franchise history

agreed. the guy was brought in to be a back up and a special teamer. hardly his fault our management couldn't find anyone better (really shouldn't have been that hard) to keep Webster in the role he was meant for.

clearly, GEM is just a mean bully. :throwrock:

I didn't think he always played hard. There were times where he missed tackles because it looked like he let up.

I still have flashbacks of him bouncing off Frank Gore and the fullback in that new years eve SanFran game.

Everybody is forgetting why Nate has survived so long in the NFL. The guy has absolutely no business as a Mike, except as a third string "emergency" back-up. Why we're even still talking about this guy is because he was a ST's killer. Keep him on the roster and tell him to kill the kick returners, God knows we could sure use some help in that regard.

Honestly I think we're much better off by just letting him go.
