I'm assuming, you're wanting those guys in correlation with the round...yes? Because if you want Worrell Williams in the first round....not so good.

I'd like Raji too. Unfortunately so does the Seahawks, Packers and Jaguars. Did I forget anybody? The point is; that he'll be gone before #12. If I'm wrong I'll buy the beer.

at 12 i want lauranaitis. rey maualuga i think is way over rated. im not even sure he is the best linebacker of usc. cushing would be great if we were drafting 15 or lower. but at pick 12 i like jl, he knows how to play a 3-4 and 4-3 and he has great football mechanics.

bj raji will be gone so i dont even want to consider him. but here's a couple of my mocks

mock 1
rd 1. ilb-james lauranaitis
rd 2. s-patrick chung
rd 3. rb-shonn greene
rd 4. dt-terrance taylor
rd 5. de-cody brown
rd 5. db-jarius byrd
rd 6. wr-johnny knox
rd 7. olb-lee robinson
rd 7. wr-patrick turner

mock 2 (trading down scenario)
rd 1. olb/ilb-brian cushing
rd 2. olb-clay matthews
rd 2. dt-ron brace
rd 3. de-michael johnson
rd 4. rb-rashad jennings
rd 5. s-david bruton
rd 5. db-sherrod martin
rd 6. wr-johnny knox
rd 7. wr-ramses barden
rd 7. c-mike dent

1. B.J. Raji -GONE
2. Aaron Curry - GONE
3. Rey Mauluga -OVERATED
4. Brian Orakpo - YES!
5. Brandon Pettigrew - NO
5. Vontae Davis - A REACH
5. Tyson Jackson - A REACH
6. Michael Crabtree - HELL YES!
7. Knowshon Moreno - HELL YES!

honestly, i wouldnt mind moreno at all. i think we could have a solid draft even if we burned our first pick on offense. moreno just has franchise back written all over him. and if crabtree fell to 12....how could you not take him?

Yeah it would be nice to get Raji. I wouldn't be surprised if we moved up to get him. I wouldn't be surprised either if the Packers give Harrell one more year before labeling him a bust. Jaguars could go with a WR or even a RB for that matter. Either way, you are right....Raji won't be there at 12.

as my top realistic 1st round selections?

1.Everrette Brown
2.Trade down for Clint Sintim
3.Tyson Jackson
4.Malcolm Jenkins (if he falls which is likely after the work out)
5.Trade down for Knowshon Moreno
6.Michael Crabtree (if hes there take him over any of these players simply because you cannot pass on that type of talent)

everyone read the thread title. its asking for a full mock, not your favorite 5 in the first.

1-Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU
2-Ron Brace, DT, Boston College
3-Connor Barwin, OLB, Cincinnati
4-Worrell Williams, ILB, California
5a-Andre Brown, RB, North Carolina State
5b-Quan Cosby, WR, Texas
6-Zach Potter, DE, Nebraska
7a-AQ Shipley, C, Penn State
7b-Pat White, QB/WR, West Virginia

If we can sign a FA ILB like Bart Scott, then replace Worrell w/ DT, Dorell Scott of Clemson. Sign Leonhard of the Ravens to compete at Safety and Steeler CB Bryant McFadden. Sign DE Mike Wright of the Pats for depth and Chris Canty of Dallas to start opposite Tyson Jackson.

The defensive lineup:

DE: Chris Canty and Tyson Jackson start...depth includes Zach Potter and Marcus Thomas

DT: Ron Brace starts (or a short term FA like Grady Jackson)...depth includes Carlton Powell and Dorell Scott if drafted

ILB: DJ Williams and Bart Scott/Larsen start....if drafted, Worrell Williams and Boss Bailey provide depth

CB: Bryant McFadden and Champ Bailey start

S: Josh Barrett an Wes Woodyard start w/ Leonhard and acheap FA as depth

On offense, we add Bryant Johnson at WR. WRs include BMarsh, Royal, Jackson, Cosby, Johnson and Stokley.

i really like connor barwin, alot! he plays multiple linebacker positions, de and te. they say he is very comparible to mike vrabel from new england. his versatility alone should land him in the 3rd round or higher.

First two picks should be best player available that is not a QB, TE, or LT.

After those two picks then the rest should be D linemen, Linebackers and one safety and one corner mixed in.

Singling out positions at the beginning is stupid. If a star drops to our pick you have to get him. Anyone remember Warren Sapp, Randy Moss and Adrian Peterson's draft days? Those guys dropped so teams could pick some scrub that filled a need.
