Will we make a play for Ray Lewis? I personally think it would be a great pickup. His leadership alone is worth it. he will want a big money this I know..but is he worth it? i say YES.

Too much talent in the draft at LB.

No. He's a great player, but he's way old, and he'll cost too much. If we want Ray Lewis, we need to draft the closest thing to him.

He's the best LB I've seen since LT (THE REAL LT.) It's a very safe bet Denver won't Draft a LB even in the realm of Ray Lewis.

If he's not part of the future, don't make him part of the present.

I hate lewis. Seeing him stick out his big ass tongue and act a fool in a Broncos jersey would make me sick.

1. He needs to go to a contender with a good defense to be relevant, so he is not coming here. He wants a superbowl ring and the HoF, no need to tarnish reputation now by moving to one of the worst defense in the league with a totally revamped system and roster.

2. Why invest in the old at a higher price tag when you can get something new that will last longer at a much lower price. Dewayne Robertson anyone?

Just not a good idea for both parties

Lewis says he doesn't like playing in a 3-4 defense because he has to fight off offensive linemen. So if we're going to a 3-4 defense I doubt he would give Denver the time of day.

Also, I know he's great player but at his age and what it would cost to bring him in, the return on the investment probably wouldn't pan out.

We had a chance to make a play for Lewis and instead took Mobley. I liked Mobley, but this was one of a long list of draft blunders from the past.

This team seems to be headed deeper into a youth movement which is fine by me. I seriously doubt Lewis is in the plans.

Mobley was good, but no Ray Lewis.

I say no. Play with DJ and Larsen in the ILB positions. If they wash out then address the issue next offseason. I'd rather sink money into areas of bigger concern: D-line, Safety and now another corner.

He's past his prime.

Plus he helped to cover up a murder.

If we sign an aging veteran, I hope it's Brian Dawkins...

Lewis is one of the best LB's of all time, but I don't think he'd be a good fit here.

Even at his age, he's still a MUCH better option than we currently have. I wouldnt give him a mega deal, but 2 year deal for reasonable money would be okay with me.

I don't think he come Denver because he doen't like playing in a 3-4 defense.

Lewis is only Lewis in Baltimore. In denver - he's a loud aging vet who demands too much coin.

Dawkins: YES

Lewis: NO

Dawkins would cost less and allow us a year or two to groom WOOD for SS.
