Great pics, MPB. What area of town do you live in?
What a great looking Nissan truck. Is it for sale?
How can I get it to New Hampshire?

@ WTE ....funniest thing. This is my 1990 Nissan pick up. I am the original owner, love this truck, bought it in Los Angeles! When it turned 200.000 miles it just kept on going to 400.000 miles within a few days. :D
I get notes on my windshield all the time from guys who want to buy my truck - but I don't want to sell it.
@ sneakers, coming up...there were thousands of them. Took the shot off I-70 & N. Chambers close to the airport.
@ Borderline. We live in Sheridan, off hwy. 285. Like 18 Min. from the stadium.
Not all streets get plowed, only the main ones. Some poor guy couldn't even get out of his driveway yesterday.
@ weazel - we got 14 inches in 24 hours two days ago. And its not melting. Sometimes it melts right away - not this time...:D

The pictures are great, thank you!!!
Happy Holidays to all Bronco Fans!!!

With all due respect Colorado looks like a shitty place to live.
But again, this is with all due respect.

No, things do not close down, and they do a good job on the highways, etc. The neighborhood streets suffer. Last year, hardly any snow.

If it snows like 2 inches here the day is over. You do not want to see southerners trying to drive in the snow.

you're kidding, right? Denver has so many great ski resorts around it that get so much snow. I would love to spend a winter there. Our hills up here have no base at all, I was supposed to be going all week and unless I wanna ski on rocks Im pretty much hooped.

Any time that comes out of a person's mouth/keyboard, you know something completely disrespectful is going to come out.

All you guys that live where it's warm that wanna be around snow are as high as a kite. I'll take a South Texas, Arizona, or Florida winter over a Denver winter hands down

Well, when I lived in Sacramento it was nice to go up to Tahoe for the day and then come back to 'normal' weather.
Here it is an adjustment. I saw a poor guy the other day who's car got stuck in the snow - he couldn't even get out of his driveway.
I do like our fireplace tho - makes for some romantic evenings...
Did you know fireplaces only put off less than 30% of the heat the fire inside of it creates? I learned that the other day when I asked a home builder here why houses in South Dakota don't have fireplaces. A lot of people here that I know install pellet stoves. I digress.

Snow is cool for about a couple months then by mid Jan/February you're sick of it. Growing up down South....I don't miss it but I don't know if Alaska will be for me to live here after the wife retires...we'll have 4/5 yrs to decide, well 4 now being we've been here almost a year now. Come summertime....I may change my mind again because it's great up here:lol:
I liked Utah and CO winters aren't too harsh.

Yes I know, its more a novelty than anything else.
This is what we have in our cabin in yosemite, I can get that 800 sq. foot place to 95 degrees in about an hour. :D

we dont really get snow until about January or February... I wish it started snowing here in October so the hills would build up some base, it sucks right now.

Totally agree GEM - every time we have a major snowstorm, which by the way is not that often, people who do not live here think we are buried in snow like that all winter - that's ok by me - way too many people moving here all of the time.

I've had both and I'll take the fireplace insert over the pellet stove. The pellet stove was the dirtiest appliance I've ever used. Dust everywhere and there is nothing like a real wood fire.
