I was thinking about this yesterday and today and realized we've been too focused and combative a lot of "stupid/silly/insignificant" things lately. Tebow is/isn't this, DLine sucks, DB's reek, LB's miss tackles, etc. blah, blah, blah.

I just wanted to start a thread recognizing the amazing feat of rising from the bottom to what likely looks like a first place finish and a trip to the playoffs! Credit Tebow, the D, our running backs, Fox, whoever. Worst to first baby! It's within our grasp!

Hopefully this thread isn't a week too early...

(Too short didn't read)

:D

Agree 100%. Offense, defense, special teams and coaching have all improved from last year and made contributions so far this season.

No matter what happens, I'm extremely proud of this team. But be careful, we haven't won the division yet. It's starting to feel way too much like 2008. The Chargers probably aren't losing another game now that they've found their December magic, we need to win out.

A remarkable accomplishment, really.

It feels good for this team to be relevant again.

From starting out in the running for the "Suck for Luck" sweepstakes to possibly winning the division, the ride has been fun no matter what happens from here on out this year.

Which is why I wouldn't have expected this kind of rookie mistake out of you, Joe... :tsk: If we miss the playoffs I'm holding you personally accountable.

Let's be clear about this:

I did not make a bold prediction, nor a guarantee. Just an amazing possibility/likelihood of going from worst to first.

Read the damn OP people.

"to what likely looks like a first place finish" is hardly the rant of the infamous CasinoRoyale.

In all fairness, no one was thinking playoffs, let alone being in the position we are in at the beginning of the year. This is certainly icing on the proverbial cake.

The game Sunday really is a playoff game. Win and we continue, lose and we might, but I'm looking at the game against the Chiefs as our wildcard weekend.

Mobile Post via http://Mobile.BroncosForums.com/forumsright on joe !

Its been an amazing season, transcending my highest expectations.

the miraCULOUS endings have overshadowed the abismal starts to every game, but alas, its how you finish. and just like the fantastic starts to our last 2 games, bothe pathetic losses that exposed all of our shortcomings, I can appreciATE HOW far we have come but must also recognize how far we have to go.

Which, IMO, is SUBSTANTIALLY shorter than most thought at the beginning of the year.

Regardless of what we thought at the beginning, the BRONCOS are here and need to finish strong with a win on Sunday.

I think we will beat the chiefs but im almost positive the chargers will beat oakland. So either way were getting in. I just hope we stay healthy
