I was in Iraq at the time. I manuevered for two weeks to make sure I was at the Dam so I could watch, stayed up all night along with a bunch Azerbaijanis (trying to explain the gameto them), and then had to run a convoy about 2hrs after the game...

In short, I am still holding a huge ******* grudge.

I haven't. I spent that week visiting my sister and her husband for Thanksgiving. When you visit, there are only two things to do - eat and watch football. For four straight days, I watched game after game after game and EVERY team I rooted for that entire weekend lost - college and pro, even games where I only had a casual interest in one team winning. And the coup d'grace of that weekend was watching the Broncos choke in Chicago because they couldn't figure out not to kick the ball to #23.

You feel like wanting to throw your fist through some walls until you realize you're a guest in somebody's else home that can't afford any repairs and you're not comfortable swearing before family members. It might have been the most frustrating time I've ever had that didn't involve women.

On our game winning drive in the 4th quarter Tebow will float into the air on third and long (because of the rapture) and on his way he drops the ball for Urlacher to pick up and run a TD for the win. Not only does this happen, on his way to the heavens cutler jumps after him and sticks his broken thumb up Tebow's butt, thus giving him a miracle thumb that leads the Bears all the way to the superbowl.

HOWEVER...considering their QB absolutely sucks, their WRs are mediocre at best (especially without Cutler), and their best RB is sitting on the bench due to injury...... I think we keep their offense to nearly nothing. So again, it will come down to a low scoring game.

Two things about this game scare me:

1. Julius Peppers. Dude is scary in every way. I take solace in the idea that Fox might know some of his weaknesses-if there are any.
