I have never seen that. The only thing I can think of is if you hit the multi-quote button by mistake. How often does it happen? Is it always the last post? Are you using the quick reply on the bottom, or hitting reply and opening up the new post window?

As to freezes. One thing to note is that at 12:15, 6:15, 12:15 and 6:15 I have it backup the database, and during that time it will kind of freeze the message board for a minute or two.

Other than those times, it could be almost anything. A problem between you and the server (internet problem, lost packets, etc.). Almost anything.
