San Diego _ As my partner Lindsay Jones reported today, Broncos cornerback/kick returner Cassius Vaughn suffered a fracture in the lower part of his fibula while returning his team’s first kickoff Sunday.

Dang, that sucks. Hate to see that happen to any player...well, except for Mike Vick.

That sucks because he was what allowed us to get rid of dirt bag Perrish Cox,

That didn't stop Greg Jennings. He "put da team on his back". I hope this doesn't mean Wilhite is our dime corner. He always seems to get beat and is a weak link in the defense.

That sucks, Cassius was showing good potential so far this year. At least it happened later in the season, he had a chance to show we should make sure he's here rather than sign an injury settlement...

He looked like he was in some pain after that hit. They panned out from it pretty quickly.

Get better, Cassius!

1) That sucks for Vaughn. Hope he's back in camp next year trying to make the roster. I like his moxy and he's no worse as a corner than someone like Foxworth was at the same point, maybe better. I'd like to give him the chance to get better.

2) I'd like to thank Tebow's Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for Chris Harris. That kid plays with a ton of heart, is always paying attention (even when he gets beat), is a sure tackler and a hard hitter and learns quickly. He can stay.

If I can get a RCB to replace Goodman in the offseason and Rahim Moore can find his way back onto the field as a successful safety, we could have a REALLY interesting secondary next year.

I hope that doesn't hurt his chances of playing next week vs Minnesota.

Just think, next year we'll also get the Squid back.

I am not a Rahim Moore fan.

I wish him well.....but....no way would that guy have been my 2nd round pick.

Same. I didn't think he could tackle in college and I liked the QC pick over Moore. I'm hoping for better as he goes, though - because I hate wasting 2nd round picks.

I'm hoping Squid can still run fast and jump high when he returns, and can be a good player for us.

We've spent enough picks - especially high picks - on the secondary in recent years that I'm hoping not to spend any more.

Why in the hell isnt Moore on the field as of late???

I havent heard his name in over a month...

I wonder if we will try and bring any DBs in for a workout?

I never like seeing a player get hurt and I hope he makes a quick and full recovery, but this doesn't hurt us at all. I'm not seeing the potential you guys are talking about. Harris and Wilhite are better, Vaughn has been nothing but a scrub.

He suffered a concussion in the Oakland game, but as far as I know he's healthy again, they are just keeping him on the bench in favor of Quentin Carter.

Fractured leg always sounds so much worse than broken leg. Fractured makes it seem like they got shot in the leg with a gun using a minié ball.
