I know. I was listening to the crew on NFLN before the Harbaugh game last night and they seem to believe Suh is in denial of ever wrong doing and believes he is just playing hard. But in the Other Game Thread....nflfan has a great clip of the whole thing and Suh can't sell his way out of this one. I expect 4 games he'll be on the sidelines.

It was weird seeing Suh in that Subway commercial during every commercial break. He was also in the Chrysler 300 commercial shown during the game. Wonder if he will be dropped from those commercials.

Suh is disgusting. I have always kinda liked the Lions, but this guy just makes me hate that team.

He wont be able to slide his way out of this,
http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth/post/_/id/34886/delusion-and-reality-for-ndamukong-suh
The entire nation watched Suh pound the head of Packers guard Evan Dietrich-Smith (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/12972/evan-dietrich-smith) into the ground three times and then stomp on him as the two were separated. Many of you saw his postgame comments (http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth/post/_/id/34877/verbatim-ndamukong-suh), a scary mix of manic sentences and paranoid conspiracy theories that suggested the gulf between Suh and the NFL's accepted way of life is widening rather than closing here at the end of his second season.

Ndamukong Suh (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/13234/ndamukong-suh)'s stomp in Thursday's game that led to the Detroit defensive lineman's ejection will be reviewed by the league next week.

LOL, he was just trying to get up. He had lost his balance, North.
We all know he was really just pissed off after being pancaked, and I mean pancaked. He got owned on that play.

He could have gained a lot of points hy just saying "I'm sorry. I have some issues with anger during games that I have to work on."
But the press conference and the lie and excuses are as bad as the act itself. What a tool.

Suh kind of apologizes now. I'm sure the team PR person obligated him to make at least a half hearted apology.
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7278879/ndamukong-suh-detroit-lions-apologizes-stomp-says-learned-situation
I'm going to guess the team thought if he owned up to it, he might get a 2 game suspension instead of 4.
What do you guys think in terms of a suspension? Just a fine?

Hard to say. Although he's been warned before he has never been suspended so 4 games (although i think he deserves it) might be construed as too much for a first time offender. I say at least 2 games.

Yeah, I'd say 2 games is likely. I'd be surprised if it was only a fine. He's already been fined a lot.

What do you guys think in terms of a suspension? Just a fine? Too much press. The league will be forced to deal harshly.
And I heard that he apologized to his team and fans only. Not to the guy he stomped.

He might be the best defensive linemen in the league but he is an utter idiot. I kinda liked the kid until I saw that.

You mean top 20 draft prospect for that year. Sure. Top 20 player? Not even close. In any event, the dude appears to be as unstable off the field as he is on the field. Bit of a pathological liar, so he actually seems honest off the field as he truly believes his own lies.

If you watched the Harbaugh game on NFLN Thursday night, Mayock said Ngata is on his top 20 list of all NFL players. Don't know what you are jibbering about in the rest of your post.
Ravage!!!

He'll get suspended for a single game, and the Detroit coach SHOULD sit him as well. But, I can understand where the coach is sitting. He's in a desperate need to get the team to the playoffs.
I like Suh's ability, but there is absolutely NO place for this crap in the game.

You weren't clear on if you were referring to Ngata or Suh.
