Pretty interesting read/analysis on the Broncos Oline from yesterday.

Link below, but, in short, it underscores how well the Oline has been performing - including Beadles, who some people here still seem to classify as "bad."

That was an excellent read.
Seeing those stills of the O-line is 1 part nostalgia 2 parts excitement 1 part anticipation of the passing game coming along slowly.

They are young guys. They can run block very well and going back to a modified version of the ZBS really helps them.

But, they still suck at pass-blocking as they proved when Orton was in the game and in the Miami game.

So, if Denver tried to come out and pass 30-40 times like the Patriots then you'd see the "bad Beadles" and "bad Walton" back again. Throw 8 times? They can handle the blocking.

The real test will come next year when the Broncos will have to pass more. Can they develop into decent pass-blockers?

Stink said on 104.3 the Fan that in college his Idaho teams threw constantly, every game, so that by the time he came into the NFL in 1989 as a 10th round pick he already knew how to pass protect very well.

Most OL don't have that experience coming into the league. So, they have to learn while they are here.
