And Green runs for 187.

Jets defense shuts down our running game. Tebow shuts down our passing game.

Running game will bite us after two Lance ball fumbles that are returned for TD's.

No chance we can keep the winning streak going at home. This is going to suck.

Sanchez throw 4 td`s in the 1st half (2 of them to himself) and rushes for 3 more. during halftime he bones the entire bronco cheerleading squad. rex ryan has pizza delived to the sidelines. the broncos get a lone touchdown but thunder breaks his leg running around the field.

final score: 70-7

Even himself?

On a serious note, the Sanchize is definitely going to rebound after their loss to the Pats, I think he throws 7 and a half TDs, rushes for 200+ yards, and eats 3 hotdogs on the sidelines.

Tebow plays so poorly we trade him for Bill Devaroe at halftime.

1) Don't mess up the negative vibes MO is trying to establish

2) Whether or not he is "Elite" has not yet been determined, at least as far as this message board. We have seen some very odd uses of that word here, so much so that I am unsure if the dictionary definition still counts. One deluded soul called the Raiders "Elite" for example. What does that mean then? It can't be something good. If "Elite" means you surrender 300 on the ground and play as soft as a babies ass then the Jets aren't that. Perhaps we shpould describle Sanchez as "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" instead. As such he will throw for six TD's and knock Joe Mays out cold in a head on collision at the first down marker.

Everyone gives Denver crap for running so much. Then NY makes Sanchez throw it 40 times in that game. Bad game planning. NFL crew jumps on Sanchez for not being more confident after the game. Did you see Rex Ryan after the Tebow score? If he was my coach I'd lose all confidence too. How are you gonna expect Sanchez to be a bigger man than the head coach?

When Greene went down; they had to have McKnight to step up and produce. He didn't and so the Jets may have had to throw more than they originally planned. However, they did have Sanchez throw it 39 times last Sunday with a healthy Greene running the ball. This is why it wouldn't have been smart for them to use that same game plan.

The biggest thing that you & I probably agree on is that it is a myth that the only way to win in the NFL today is to throw the ball 30 - 40 + times per game. If your QB is named Tom Brady, Payton Manning, Drew Breez or Aaron Rodgers; then the game plan works like a charm. As for the other 28 team (29 with Manning missing this entire season); it doesn't work. The sooner the owners stop drinking that Kool-Aid and start hiring coaches that base the game plans on the players that they actually have on their team, instead of the players that their fans wish they had, the sooner this myth can be disproven.

The benefits of having a run heavy offense showed it's self in the 4th quarter the way it used before everyone tried to have their QBs impersonate Brady & Manning; the Jets D got worn down from the kind of pounding that Ds only endure against run heavy offenses. All of that pounding that they endure for the 1st 55 minutes of the game cost them in the last 5 minutes when they failed to maintain containment and make tackles like they had been doing all game long. That's how old school football games were won, and that old school formula worked like a charm against the Jets.

He's doing the same thing Vince Young did in his first few seasons. That didn't last because he didn't work on becoming a quarterback. Tebow has a better work ethic and better drive than Young.

BTW, don't listen to these yahoos that are saying he's changing the position. He's not, and they are way too new to watching the game to have any clue about that.

I don't think he's changing the position. But I think, given time and a lot of hard work, he can be a competent NFL passer. Add that to everything else he brings to the table and I am hopeful for the future.
