View Full Version : Broncos' McGahee loves to prove his critics wrong

It is one of the more curious combinations, that a man, happy with who he is and what he does, gathers so much negativity to stoke his competitive fire.

Yet, here's Willis McGahee, the Broncos' leading rusher, smiling his way through the search for bad news.

"You know, people telling me I can't do this, can't do that, that's what motivates me most of the time," McGahee said. "I know it sounds wrong. I mean, do I need all that negative stuff? No, I don't need it, but it helps."

Tebow hater parade could really hurt him, since tebow is going to be the "crap magnet" in the hater-filled press, and praising how good willis is/is going to do would be like a backhanded way to attack tebow. He may have trouble finding any material whatsoever.

Willis showed great field vision in last weeks game against Oakland, I thought he was extremely impressive. He may not be the fastest or most explosive back but he almost always picks the right hole, cuts back when he should, and just generally is an intelligent runner. Basically, he is the opposite of Chris Johnson.

The zone read helped too because if he did not have much of a hole Tebow would have the hole. Keeps the defense from overloading 1 side against the run.

True. On the same note, TT did a great job with the read, the Oline blocked well and the WR crackbacks (I was especially impressed with DT) were also excellent.

That would be a perfect picture for this forum instead of the rearing horse.

A raiders forum would be ok with your posts. You have done nothing but insult people since getting here. Nobody has paid attention to your football posts because they are all plastered with,"look at me, i am so smart. You are so dumb." Sadly, when you cant have a civil discussion about football without that crap, you come off as an ignorant fool who cant handle an adult conversation.
