Four days after his best all-around start of his short NFL career, Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow said he continues to grow more comfortable in Denver's offense.

It helps that the Broncos have implemented more option plays that are similar to what he ran in college.

"Our offense is what it is, and we'll continue to run that, but every week we'll continue to game plan new things, just like any team would to try to take advantage of the defense we're going to face," Tebow said.

No! We must exclusively, blindly use the option at all time now!

Doom! Dooom! Doooooom! I tells ya!

And why wouldn't he feel comfortable with it? It's similar to what he ran in college.

I think he answered the questions just fine. He was saying he is getting comfortable with the offense in general. The offense is what it is. He then said that the option is only one play and that they need to execute in all areas.

Then he said he is going to Shotgun Willies for some practice. (In the shotgun)

Tom Brady works almost exclusively out of Shotgun, and Kyle Orton saw his success (if you call it that) from Shotgun as well. For that matter, Dan Reeves installed the Shotgun package for Elway and it worked for him as well.

Get your QB comfortable at all costs. If it works, it works, just do whatever gives us the best chance to win football games, and clearly Tebow gives us a better chance to win games than Orton, and more assuredly Quinn.

I'm glad the coaching staff is showing this much creativity, it says a lot about their desire to win.

There seems to be a chasm between being comfy with it and properly executing it.

Hell RC, if we run for 250+ a ball game and win I would be ok with an average or mediocre passing game FOR NOW.

I know John Fox would be ok with it for that sort of rushing output.

Average or mediocre? Hmmmm....think he can improve that much?

Unlike your boy Orton, he seems to have us at minimum WINNING games. Right now, winning and improving is good enough for me.
