Today wasn't a Tebow problem it was a BRONCOS problem. One guy cannot make an entire football team. I'd like to present several problems from today's fiasco. Number one, neither Ball nor (NoShow) Moreno contributed even a little bit to the cause of the team as running backs until late in the game. Two, the offensive line was deplorable all game long... most of the time someone was in Tebow's face or in the backfield with the running back as soon as he touched the ball. Three, Fox seems to intensionally desire that Tebow not succeed because his play calling choices can't even be acheived by Brady, Manning or Rogers. In the NFL you can't run on 1st and 10 for a yard, run again on 2nd and 9 for another yard and then expect to get a first down by throwing the ball 30 yards down the field on 3rd and 8. Did you notice that at the end of the Miami game and at the end of the Detroit game when the pass routes were between 5 and 15 yards, that the ball was caught and the Broncos were drving down the field? Why do you think Brady, Manning and Rogers throw short several times before they take a shot down the field? The really good teams are picking defenses apart with the short pass, not trying to launch the bomb down the field. Why? Because it gives them the opportunity to get their guys out in space and catch the ball and put the defenders in a one on one situation where they have to make an acceptional open-field tackle. Since this is very difficult in the NFL with the level of talent of receivers, you are giving your team some good odds to advance the ball after the catch. You're also giving your QB high percentage passing plays. Let's go to yet another aspect of the ineptitude of John Fox... Putting Tebow in shotgun and rolling him left or right is much more effective especially when combined with 5 to 15 yard patterns. When Tebow rolls out linebackers and corners have to freeze and read whether he is running or passing. This helps people get open. It also makes corners and safeties cheat up to be in position for a pass-run option. This creates the vertical space that allows receivers to come open on the longer passes. The key to the tough day that Tebow had today is the failure of his coach for horrible play selection and the failure of his teammates to block, tackle and run, not to mention several passes that were in the hands of his receivers and dropped. Where is that vaulted Bronco's running attack? One is in Cleveland, one is in Washington, who is going to step up? When we get the Orange CRUSH defense back instead of the Orange FLUFF defense, then we'll see something happen.

So you registered just to make excuses for Tebow? Well I just registered to tell you there is another thread where you can make excuses for him.

Orton has the same excuses but you didn't come here and register to complain about that.

That's one really, really long excuse for Tebow playing like crap.

Much like Orton... Franklin can't block a man in the wheelchair and since tebow is a lefty he's probly waiting for it to come all game....

Willis Mcgahee not playing definitely didn't help either. His throws were much better.... seemed like everyone dropped a pass when it mattered too... no run game no clean catches and no blocking equals a big hole that the defense can't fill

Defenses don't change their schemes for left-handed passers, so that's a useless excuse.

As far as Franklin, or the other offensive linemen, it's like a cornerback...you could be the best in the game but you can't cover for four seconds. Same thing goes for the offensive line. Tebow has to get rid of the football. He can't wait for receivers to get open like he could in college. He has to anticipate and trust his receivers. He seemingly can't do that.

Franklin was abused in pass protection all day. It was his weakness coming out of college but I had no idea it would be that bad. The pass routes took way too long to develop and Tebow threw some wounded ducks out there. It was a bad day all around...

Why would a defense change a gauge plan on left or right?? An who said that?

#1 clady should move to the right side so tebow can see first hand how bad Franklin sucks... the entire team got owned today

Tebow did throw some nice passes early though he's basically a rookie an mistakes will be made an they'll all grow from it together

A.) Because they don't.

B.) No.

C.) He threw one nice pass before halftime. A deep sideline comeback.

Exactly I know they don't so where did you come up with the IDEA?? The pass to Decker was a perfect TD... receivers fault... dropped balls all day long... receivers fault

Bad throws... miss timed pass/ late passes tebow fault

Franklin can't block... its common practice to put your best lineman on your QB's back every team in the nfl does it thats why left tackle is a high dollar job but since tebow is left handed clady should be on the right side... not bc the defense game plans for blindside attack that's stupid to assume... its because every team in the nfl protects their quarterbacks BACK

Just out classed... at least Orton could see Franklin whiffing on a block....tebow has his back to the joke.... Clark is a huge improvement

Its nice to know this Tebow Thingee experiment is almost over. EFX are sitting back laughing their ass's off right about now. The Tebow Fan Rebellion and Bill Board posters have unknowingly rushed T2 into the starting line to expose just how bad Friar Tebow truly is.

EFX will have seen enough by the end of the 2011 season and will leave Tebow in as the starter so as to prove once and for all that they were right in NOT naming Tebow the starter at the beginning of the season! However, due to the Great T2 Fan Rebellion they had no other choice but to start Tebow.

In 2012 EFX will put an end to Tebow Circus by lifting Heaven and Earth to ensure the Broncos are in the draft position to select Luck, Jones, or Barkley with their first pick.

In 2012 Tebow will have to compete with Luck, Jones, or Barkley for the starting job! There won't be any excuses by then. Tebow will be in his 3rd year in the NFL and 2nd year in Fox's system and he should be able to hold off and win the starting job from either Jones, Barkley, or Luck.
