I don't want to get my hopes up. . .but. ..

I wouldn't have ever fired Shanny just to replace him with Cowher.

However, if Shanny is gone, with our team's current situation, Cowher seems perfect.

Young team. ..super young team. Needs work on defense. Amazing talent on O. How could Cowher script a better story for himself to take over?

edit: The reason I bring up our team's youth is that Cowher seems like his biggest strength is molding and bringing along young players and making them NFL players. We need some of that with our young roster.
