Sure...I'm a Vol homer, but the question still stands.
He has been STOUT vs the run, which was his strength in college. He may not be the 3-4 OLB some envisioned, but I feel he is clearly holding his own nowadays...

Cant really say.
Is he playing like a #1 pick should be playing? I doubt it but then again with no consistency in the coaching ranks its probably difficult for any of them to reach their full potential right now.

I like him as a DE and I think he will improve every game. Not a bust until he has a few years at DE so we can see what he was drafted to be.

I dont consider him a bust but we still drafted him too high.

Ayers has improved his play this year, but he's still not playing like a 1st round pick.

So far, I've been pleased with his play. It would be great if he could really get some pass rush pressure, but he's been better against the run this year.

A little bit of a dissapoinment given his selection spot but has shown flashes and I agree with others that he's only going to get better.. or Mayock get's a throat punch..
