The free safety position for the Dolphins against the Broncos doesn’t have a lot of experience.

Counting the six days he spent with the team in August and September, Gerald Alexander has only been in a Dolphins uniform for nine days.

But with pulled hamstrings and knee injuries wreaking havoc in the secondary, there is a good chance he and seldom-used special teams standout Tyrone Culver will serve as the last line of defense for the Dolphins on Sunday against quarterback Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos.

Excellent first game for TT baby! Couldn't have served up a better first opponent! Practically on home field too!

Gerald Alexander had a good start to his career with the Lions. He's a smart guy that had big time athleticism. Unfortunately, injuries sort of derailed his career.

That's good news for us. Yeremiah Bell is a pretty good Safety. Not the greatest cover guy but he's a beast tackler. I'm glad we won't have to see him tomorrow.
