orton (cancer)
mcbean (bad egg)
walton (cant snap right)
dj (waste of space)
bailey (over the hill)
clady (dont need him now with a lefty)
dawkins (send him back to philly, too old)
royal (doesnt want to be here / cancer)

i think we could get like 8 picks for these clowns, who did i miss?

no, HC means he is a cancer for the organizaition. His presence on the team is not positive to the morale of the team as a whole

Trade Orton to the Raiders

They need a QB bad and would probably give us a 2nd for him

And after 3 years and god knows how many ints, Orton's pretty good at throwing to the Raiders already

There's no way the Raiders would give a 2nd for Orton. They'd rather sign Garrard than give up a 2nd.

They might do a sign and trade like the fins tried to do preseason

They have no QB and it may be just what they need with that running game, a decent defense Orton may be the game manager they need for the next three years

I agree a 2nd would be a reach, maybe a 4th then

Oakland has few enough picks as is, I would simply trade him for Michael Bush.

I agree Orton would be a good fit for the Raiders, but no one is going to give up a 2nd for him. Even a 4th is a bit of a stretch, the way he's played so far really hurt his trade value. We'd be really lucky to get a 5th.

I'd do that in a heartbeat, I just doubt they'd be dumb enough to do that. Its rare for players to be traded for players in the NFL anyway, its usually players for picks.

That's why I feel that sometimes fans have a better perspective and are just as capable as the professionals. And could do just as well in a General Management position as the so-called experts.

Oakland is in a position to make it far with the right elements, Kyle Orton is better then anyone they have on the roster, while Moreno isn't the best running back, he fits their zone blocking scheme and is just as capable a receiver. Bush struggles in Oakland, he's doesn't fit well with their zone scheme, but would be a capable one-two back in Denver with McGahee. If there was ever a time for Oakland to win and have support of football fans everywhere, it's now with the loss of Al Davis, just as New Orleans had when they won it all after Katrina.
