I hear John Jamison lost a barrel of his finest to the depths of the sea, you should try to find it.

I'm moving back to Kentucky after a short 6 months in Arizona. I'll find out for you when I get back there.
Kentucky Whiskey > Tennessee Whiskey
But the moonshine is down in Tennessee..

Jack Daniels does it occasionally, but it'll run you several thousand dollars. Some of the smaller distilleries will do it as well, but they tend to be 3-10 gallon barrels as opposed to a full cask. Much cheaper though.

I personally don't drink whiskey. I have some sort of allergy towards rye and get sick within seconds of having even a spoonful.
Most people I know that drink rye, drink Crown
Not all whiskey is rye...though, Wild Turkey rye is pretty okay.

I get that... but I just stay away from all whiskeys.
I dont like scotch either... although I like scotch ale.
I do drink vodka, tequila, rum and I love jagermeister. I also dont like to mix my alcohol with anything, but if I do its water or club soda. I dont drink pop.
I generally drink beer though.

Crown is pretty good. But I'm cheap. I'd rather buy some Jim Beam or Wild Turkey.
My personal favorite is Baker's.

Crown being expensive is a common misconception. A 750ml bottle of Crown most places is under $30. If you're like me and you just stuff a whiskey glass with ice and sip on a little bit of whiskey for a bit, a 750ml bottle of Crown will last you a month if you don't drink more than a couple glasses a couple times per week. My dad was here during the first weekend in October and he bought us a bottle of Johnny Walker (red...cheap, but good) and I just finished it last week. And if you're gonna spend $20 on a 750ml bottle of Beam, why not spend a little bit more and buy REAL whiskey...not garbage bourbon.

At WalMart Jim Beam is right at 15 bucks. And it's far from garbage.
And I can't believe I forgot to mention Maker's Mark when talking about Kentucky.

lol, I went to a bachelor party camping weekend and there were about 150 dudes there. I brought out a bottle of wild turkey and like I said, I dont drink whiskey, so I jsut brought it out and passed it around the fire.
I didnt see the bottle again until the end of the weekend when everyone was gone. I was cleaning up a bit and laying by the fire was the bottle of wild turkey, with only about 3 drinks out of it! LMAO, that shit is disgusting!

I'm a fan of Beam choice (green label). Very good for the $. It's also pretty fun getting white whiskey or moonshine and "aging" your own.
