So yea, the slump for me started on Nov. 12th 2007 when i lost my job. Then in April 2008 i had to put my cat who had cancer to sleep after only 8 years. I took a computer class for 6 months during the summer and passed it with flying colors and got at least one certification out of it. Im working on a second one right now. That part was good but i still hadnt gotten a job and was working a couple of part-time gigs while i tried to find full time work. My wife then lost her grandfather in May that she was very close too. About a month ago we had to file for bankruptcy because of some of our debt that we could not overcome.

Then, about 2 weeks ago we found out that Missy is going to lose $10,000 in the next 3 months because the company she works for is cutting costs. Not too mention my favorite team may end up missing the playoffs after a promising start. But, this past week i was able to find a full time job with Comcast that starts next month. Still not paying what i would like but we need the money so im going to take it while still looking for a better one. And we do a lot to hers and my parents who have helped us remain afloat during this tough year. I cant even begin to tell you how great my in-laws are.

No slight against my parents as they dont always have the means to get me or my wife the greatest of things but they also never understood my love for this football team. My mother-in-law for the last 6 years has always gotten me some really great Bronco gear and merchandise. Some of them have been posted on here before. Well, she did it again this year. But they even went a step further...They bought the wife and I a 40" Flat screen TV along with a Sony Soundsystem and Blueray Dvd player. I have no words for how grateful i am to them for everything they do. Once i get those setup (we need a table for the TV) i will take a photo and post it. :D

Meanwhile, here is some of the Bronco gear and stuff that i got from them.

Here is a new Bronco blanket, Bronco Shoes, Shirt, and a window emblem.

Keep your chin up. You have people that love you and that makes you lucky in my book. Still, it does sound like it's been a rough year and I truly hope next year is much better. Good luck! :2thumbs:
