The Broncos are back in pads, but without several important players, as they begin preparing for Sunday's game against division rival San Diego.

Champ and Marcus Thomas both practiced.

Now let's see if we can keep it under 50 again!

Between the BRONCOS and Chargers, who has the most hurt players? It's going to be like the cripple fight between Timmy and Jimmy!:D

Vincent Jackson and Malcolm Floyd scare me. We lucked out not having to deal with Gates but the Chargers finally have some balance on offense again and they are the most dangerous when they can run effectively.

I'm not sure what to think of this. Because of his age he sat out a lot of Wednesday practices last year.

However, he missed the latter part of the GB game, so maybe he's hurt. Does anybody know if he's listed on the injury report?

BDawk doesn't bring much to the field of play besides his leadership at this point anyway.

He can still provide that to an extent from the sidelines.

Broncos tackle Orlando Franklin left the team today to deal with a family tragedy. Not sure of the details.

Dawkins is decent when he's healthy, problem is he's never healthy.

Are you insane?
Dawkins was on every tackle made including the fourth down stop..... He was the fourth down stuff..... He's out laying licks on everyone and he doesn't bring much?
He got beat twice out in coverage on a zone package where there should have been a strong CB and safety over the top in Moore.
The fact is that Dawkins is a one man band in his position..... Maybe we need some schooling in the difference between a SS and FS?
Dawkins shouldn't be so far out in coverage, he is supposed to be the coverage underneath with support rom the CB and FS especially in zone D.
Seeing him all over the field demonstrates a much more poignant problem in the defense beyond the fact he is way over extended...... The Broncos are begging for him to get injured by what they ask of him.
The least he could get is some appreciation from the fans.... Doesn't bring much?

If the Broncos don't find a way to control the ball on offense and place the defense on the field back to back to back and ask them to maintain the score board..... There is going to be a lot more injuries than Dawkins to worry about....... Mark my words, the D will be decimated!

So who takes Franklin's place if he's not back?

Ugh....I'm scared. Hoch-a-friggen-loogie I mean Hochstein?
