Five TDs if you count the punt return. He also tied a Broncos record of having 5 TDs in the first four games of a season by a non-RB. Watson and Al Denson also had 5 TDs in the first four games.

He should keep that #2 spot even after Royal returns. I think he has shown to be the better fit an the #2 reciever spot and seems to be able to get open more than Royal from that position.

He's much better than Royal. I think Royal's on his way out of Denver so I wouldn't mind seeing Lloyd and Decker rip it up for the rest of the year.

Count me in. Decker is an animal and has earned a starting spot at WR. He is a much better WR than Gaffney and this will only help Llyod.

Royal will go back to the slot in 3 WR sets is what I think.


Now, if #88 can just grow a pair and play without getting hurt this core might be something special.

Decker is legit. While I don't believe he is a #1 receiver in the NFL just yet, he is definitely exceeding expectations as a #2.

I doubt Eddie Royal will be able to reclaim the #2 when he returns.

Royal is going to be a kicker/punt returner and might even lose #3 slot when thomas comes back. Royal has not impressed me in last 2 seasons.

Lets be honest about it. Decker cant make the same kinds of OMFG catches that Brandon Lloyd does, but Decker's taller and you can put him in more places positionally. Decker is taller and has more girth than Lloyd.

i mostly agree. they don't play the same way. lloyd's more agile/acrobatic; often catching balls while he's in the air, adjusting his body to contour around defenders or his place on the field - yesterday's sideline grab on the intentionally underthrown pass is a great example of this.

lloyd's footwork is better and his in-motion fakes are fabulous. and he simply finds the ball no matter where he is. but, admittedly, i love the way lloyd plays.

decker's more physical, using some contact or brushing his body off a defender before making cuts/stops/fades/etc. he's probably a more precise route runner. and while he's not as fast as lloyd, the guy has a "game speed" that has surprised me this season.

i think they're a great complement too each other. bring in a healthy DThomas (yes, i still believe he will be good) and the broncos have three big, fast and aggressive receivers. now if the rest of the roster could find some talent ...

In all seriousness, Decker and Lloyd are about the only players on offense that are remotely fun to watch. On defense it's pretty much Von Miller.

Miller and Decker are both studs who should produce for a lot of years.
