I truly believe the Broncos need a new Dline Coach or some extra help coaching there on the line to be successful, like the pass rush specialist (teerlinick) that was bought in the 90's to help boost this lowly Dline and get a rush. 60+ dlinemen can't all suck.

Even the all mighty Champ Bailey can't cover Steve Smith for as long as he had to get open.

We need a pass rush. If it means drafting 10 DE's and hoping 2 of them work out, then so be it. If it means blitzing two extra guys on every play then so be it. But we could have God himself as one of our CBs and Steve Smith would still get open with as much time as we gave Delhomme to throw.

It would take a lot more than Bailey to get a guy like Ware. LB's are coveted far more than CB's, and Champ being on the end of his prime is worth a lot less in value than arguably one of the best up and coming LBers in the NFL.

Maybe if we threw Marshall in they would think about it. Roy Williams has hardly been the complimentary receiver they thought he would be.

In watching the DL's on other teams, I'm convinced some of our starters wouldn't even make their teams much less start. I used to have hope for Doom but even he has faded into oblivion. I'm for 4 new starters next year.

Interesting trade I saw was trading Moss and our 1st and 3rd to Carolina for the recently franchised Peppers. They also had us signing Jermaine phillips and drafting Jasper Brinkley. That's a defensive overhaul I could deal with

I don't believe our problem is with talent. I think the biggest problems is the DL coach, or whomever is supposed to be developing these guys. There has been no development whatsoever. Look at Doom. He isn't as productive, and doesn't look like he's improved at all since his rookie year.

Demarcus Ware is a OLB in the 3-4. Are you going to change to a 3-4 D? Do you have the Nose and other players for that kind of D? If not he might not be that great of a pick up for Denver. Now if he wanted to come to SD! That would be a great fit!:lol:

Not me, that a lot to give up on. Rather go with the tier B FA that build a solid base to work from and draft our own.
