To six points.

Please don't blast Kyle Orton. Matt Ryan is the real Captain Checkdown Charlie, and is easily the most over rated QB in the league.

It was fun watching Cutler have his way with the dirty birds as well.

I dont think Ryan is overrated but as a team they arent quite as good as some make them out to be. They will bounce back but their defense is still the weakest link.

With all of the hate for Orton, watching him and Ryan play, I think Kyle is a better QB. Ryan has an amazing ability to look pedestrian with Uber elite weapons.

But thats a tribute to your defense. Had Orton played against the Bears today i doubt he does half as good.

It is always fun to watch Cutler. Wish we still had him. He will have a very good career. Hopefully you all lock Forte up because that will be a very bright future together.

You guys looked good today. Your offense is only going to get better.

Ryan is a damned good QB. This one game doesnt prove anything... just as the game for Cam Newton doesn't prove anything.

Ryan has never wowed me. Weak arm, and not a qb that can carry a team. Not athletic. Easy to bring down etc. What Orton gets bashed for, Ryan gets praised for.

Actually... no. Ryan gets praised for his poise, accuracy, and ability to lead a team at the end of a game. He's EXTREMELY good in those moments where Orton completely blows.

There arm strength is about the same (there's nothing wrong with Orton's arm strength), but Ryan is easily more athletic than Orton.

I think the Falcons as a whole are highly over rated.

Both Ryan and Orton are very good QBs, but the folks at Atlanta love Ryan, while Orton is underappreciated in Denver, which isn't fair, really.

While Dmitroff and Smith have been systematically building a solid team around Ryan, McDaniels and Xanders made a lot of obviously stupid moves that have weakened the Broncos. Tough for Kyle to win with a much weaker team.

I'd say they're pretty similar QBs, and Orton can get comfortable with and run the Atlanta offense. The only difference is Ryan was set up to succeed, while Orton was put in a tough situation from the get go. He's done real well.

Matt Ryan is a good QB who had a bad game, Kyle Orton is an average QB who needs to be in a spread offense to put up slightly better than average numbers.

Orton is a choker and probably the least athletic starting QB in the NFL, aside from Kerry Collins who still has the much better arm of the two.

It isn't even close. Orton might not convert a first down against the Bears defense let alone score.

You don't give Orton enough credit.

When he was with the Bears, his job was to run a hand-off to the RB / dink and dunk offense. When he came to Denver, his job was to pass the ball a lot in McDaniels' pass heavy offense. In his 2nd season in Denver, he expanded his game to get very comfortable with the deep passes. For both of his OCs, the priority has always been to protect the ball. He's done a good job of that, and put up some real good numbers in Denver.

Matt Ryan is a similar type of QB. He doesn't have great arm strength, and the criticisms by Atlanta fans is that he doesn't take enough chances ... that he prefers to dink and dunk. Like Orton, he was taught to protect the ball first.

QBs who have been taught to protect the ball, have to learn to dial it up and take risks; in the opposite end, QBs who were taught to attack defenses have to learn to dial it down and protect the ball. Choose your poison.

We could always have a gunslinger like Tony Romo
