BOULDER — Colorado couldn't keep up with high-powered offenses in the Big 12 Conference during the Dan Hawkins era, and the challenge doesn't figure to get any easier in the pass-happy Pac-12.

For the past five seasons, the Buffaloes averaged about 22 points per game. That's not enough. Not nearly enough.

It'll be a great feat for him if the Buffs actually win a road game! And Hawaii likes to air out the ball as well.

Redshirt freshman quarterback Connor Wood is transferring from Texas to Colorado, CU officials said Wednesday. He will be eligible to play in 2012.

Wood, 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, was a four-star recruit coming out of Second Baptist School in Houston.

The Connor Wood transfer to CU is a huge win for Embree!!!!!

Alfred Williams, who remains very close to the staff and CU in general, was talking about how the Atheltic Department is getting a LOT of calls weekly about top kids wanting to transfer to CU based on the new staff and what they are doing.

This team will improve and quickly!

GO BUFFS!
